Encouraging Words Wednesday and a Link Up

Happy Fall!

It’s amazing how the weather in Kentucky can change so quickly.

A few days ago I couldn’t drive without the air conditioner on and

today I’ve had the heat on! Seriously?

I hope we don’t head straight into winter by October!

I’ve actually been inside a lot the last few days helping with a certain

little baby boy………

He is truly a gift from God……….

I’m reminded of James 1:17,

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from

the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like

shifting shadows.

I’m thankful for the gift of new life and the hope that it brings.

Today I also wanted to tell you how thankful I am for YOU my readers!

I have read every one of your sweet comments and I can’t begin to

tell you how much they have meant to me.

You are a BLESSING!

Many of you were praying for our family on Friday,

and celebrated with us as we welcomed Colt Allen into the

world on September 2, 2011.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by and share in our joy and now I

would love to hear from you!

Encouraging Words Wednesday Linky Party!

We all need encouragement so each Wednesday I’m having a linky party.

Hebrews 10:25b says, but encourage one another, especially now that the

day of his return is drawing near.

If you have a post on marriage, parenting, faith, or anything that will encourage us then join in!

All you have to do is enter the direct link from your post into the linky tool below!

Please add a link back to my blog in your post so others can join in,

and be courteous and visit some other blogs and leave them some comment love.

  1. Cyndi, congratulations again on y’all’s little bundle of baby joy!!! He is just so beautiful and I know he is enjoying his grandmother just as much as she is enjoying him! God bless all of y’all! Thanks so much for sharing him with us and for enabling us to link up and share encouraging thoughts with one another as well. Much love, Laurie from Scene of Sublime (formerly Scene of the Grime)

  2. How exciting!! I am so happy for you all!! We (my whole family and I) are actually going to the specialist tomorrow because they think they will have to deliver my nephew. He will be about a month early, but since he isn’t growing like he should they think they are going to go ahead and deliver. Crazy to think there will be a little boy joining our family…I have 5 sisters and a niece, so it will definitely be a change! Congrats again Cyndi!

  3. Being a grandparent is the top of the world best… we have six now and they are all wonderful blessings for my husband and I infact we are heading to the beach with all six this weekend plus their parents. Can’t wait to get there and have fun.

  4. What a beautiful baby! His picture brought back all those overwhelming feelings of love and blessing when my now adult children were born. Thank you for restirring my precious memories. Mary

  5. What a beautiful baby! His little head is just perfect, and with just the right amount of hair. I know you are in love!
