The Secret To A Beautiful Glow

Happy Hump Day!

First I wanted to say thank you for all your sweet comments about my new layout. I forgot to mention that Lori Ramsey of designerramsey.com is the one who made all my changes for me. She is awesome and absolutely wonderful to work with. If you’re needing any help with your website I would highly recommend her.

Yesterday I was reading some scripture verses and 2 Corinthians 3:18 spoke to me loud and clear~~“So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image.”

Oh ladies that verse tells us that if we have the Holy Spirit living in us then we are being transformed to look more and more like Jesus. That’s amazing and I don’t know about you but I want to look more like Him everyday.

More than having the best makeup or the best eye cream or the perfect outfit~~~I want to look like Jesus. I want to see people the way He sees people, I want to love people the way He loves people.

True beauty starts with Jesus. Women want to have a youthful glow and many will pay hundreds (even thousands) of dollars to look younger. Well, I have the secret~~if you want to glow~~grow closer to Jesus Christ!

I love this quote by Ann Voskamp, “What if we wanted to BE beautiful more than we wanted to BUY beautiful?”  Yes! Yes! I want THAT kind of beautiful.

We can be beautiful not because of all the products we use or the makeup we put on but because we have the Holy Spirit living in us and He is shaping us to look like Jesus.

That is true beauty.

If you are reading this and you don’t know Jesus, I’d love to tell you about Him. You can email me at cyndispivey(at)gmail(dot)com.

Just for Fun:

Do you have a question about makeup tips, or fashion. I’d love to hear from YOU!

Hi Cyndi- thanks for responding to my comment a few days ago! I was so excited to see that. No I am not fro KY but my x husband is from KY and his family taught me to love Kentucky, the Wildcats and Adolf Rupp. So true about if you want to glow, grow closer to Jesus Christ. We have all seen those women that makes our heads turn when they walk in the room but I want to be the sweet lady that has the “quiet” beauty that you can see in the soften, love shines through eyes> Do you know what I mean_ hard to explain. Im thinking you are that kind of lady and as I said before-what a job God has picked you for – the Pastors wife. Remember God knows you can do the job or he wouldnt have chosen you. Have a wonderful day.
