6 Tips To Cure Puffy Eyes

The first place we start to look tired is around our eyes. If your one of the many women who struggle with puffy eyes and if you’re not a fan of plastic surgery, then I have 6 tips to help cure puffy eyes.

1. Reduce the Swelling with Some Home Remedies.

  • Use cold, refrigerated used tea bags. The coolness reduces circulation, but the tea actually has an astringent (tissue-shrinking) effect as well.
  • Another alternative, try putting 2 metal spoons in the fridge and use them daily by placing the backs against your eyes.

2. Get Enough Sleep! If you’re eyes are staying puffy all day it could be from lack of sleep (hello, we’re women, we all lack sleep!). This is a no brainer but as women we tend to not get enough sleep and our eyes show it.

3. Elevate your Head When You Sleep. Use two pillows to keep your head elevated while sleeping. Fluid won’t accumulate underneath the eyes.

4. Drink Lots of  Water. There are so many benefits to drinking water so start drinking (water, of course!) Your eyes and your body will thank you.

5. Watch your Salt Intake. A high intake of sodium may increase your fluid retention, under your eyes. Salt is found in so many foods that we eat and is especially high in soft drinks. Start looking at your labels to see if your food and drinks are high in salt.

6. Use a Good Eye Cream. No matter your age a good eye cream is a must and you don’t have to spend a ton of money to get results. Olay has great products and Oil of Olay Regenerist Anti Aging Eye Roller helps with puffy eyes.

Okay, ladies let’s get rid of those puffy eyes. Give these six tips a try and let’s see if your eyes don’t start looking marvelous.

Do you struggle with puffy eyes? How do you get rid of puffy eyes?

Beauty For the Heart~~One thing we need to remember when looking at ourselves in the mirror is that we were created by God and he thinks we’re beautiful! You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up, you are still with me! Psalm 139:16-18

Also, I love the Scripture verses that you post. Keep sharing God’s Word with the ladies!

  2. I do struggle with puffy eyes when I am really tired or sick. I use the metal spoons in the freezer trick. I also will put my eye cream in the icebox for an hour or so before applying. Great tips, thanks Cyndi!
