What I Wore Wednesday Link Up

Well, I don’t have much to share this week. I think I’m in a rut!

I’m wearing the same things over and over again.

I’m still looking in my closet for color to add to my wardrobe.

I wore this to church on Sunday. The purple sweater is from The Loft, and I’ve had it for several years (you can’t tell, but my pants are brown).

I also wore this outfit (I took a long walk with my husband) this week. I asked him to take a picture with my iphone and he said “you want a picture looking like that!”

Just keeping it real ladies! I know you’re dying to know where to find my Kentucky Wildcat t-shirt but I can’t remember where I purchased it.

I also now know why I don’t exercise enough~I don’t have cute workout clothes! I must fix this!

Wayne and I are at a Pastor’s Conference in Florida and the weather is amazing! Notice the “no coat”  in January look. Love it! (I thought I’d take a picture with my glasses on since I seem to be needing them more and more). Ugh!

My pop of color is my necklace. I won this a few weeks ago from my sweet friend Darlene. It’s a TeraLynEvans design and I love it!

I’m thankful to be spending a few days alone with my husband. Ministry keeps us pretty busy so having this time together and getting refreshed is a blessing!

Thanks for stopping by! How’s your week going?

Beauty For the Heart~This verse was a part of my devotion this morning.

Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that openly profess his name. Hebrews 13:15

Today, praise Him with your words!

  1. Hey Rachelle!
That shirt is from JCPenney and it’s actually brown. It’s from the Liz Claiborne line. I got it last fall and I’m not sure if you can still find it. You might try to look online. Also I’m wearing a size medium.
Thanks so much for stopping by!!
    Have a great day!

  2. Cindi, I was wondering what the brand of the long shirt – dark blue – you are wearing with a belt in your photo sat the pastor’s conference. I would like to try that on myself and see if i can pull it off. I am blessed by your helpfulness and sharing. thanks!

  3. Hope you and your hubby had a wonderful time at the conference! I, too, am looking through my closet and jewelry drawer trying to add color to what I wear. Trying not to wear the “same old things” all the time! Thanks for the inspiration.

  4. You look wonderful! I love the brown tunic shirt with the belt….wish I could pull that off. Unfortunately, 5’3 people with a square body need not to have their midsections emphasized! hah! Anyhow – didn’t realize you were a ministry wife – I am too! It’s a joy – I’m so thankful!

  5. Cyndi I do know your mom’s name was Wanda and I hope I didn’t give you a fright! I started following your sister’s blog year’s ago. I have a daughter Tracie and my sister has a daughter Courtney!..Small world!! Haha! Looking forward to reading your upcoming posts.

    Take care,

  6. Hi Wanda!
Thank you for stopping by. I get comments in my email box and when your comment came in from Wanda, it took my breath away. That was my Mom’s name! Even the comment you left sounded like something my Mom would say.
Anyway, I am going to do a post soon on my haircut and how I style it. Thank you for asking and have a wonderful day!
    Cyndi

  7. Hi Becky!
Thank you for stopping by my blog! I’m cracking up about my hairstyle questions because I always feel my hair is too big!
I’ll get some pictures and try to share my techniques next week.
    Have a great day!

  8. Cyndi,

I found your blog through Tracie’s blog and I’m just loving it! You’re such an elegant, classy lady and it shows through your writing. You have a wonderful ministry here as well. Love how you incorporate Scripture with your blog posts.

I really love your hairstyle! How do you get that wonderful “volume”…lol? Mine usually looks like your casual style in your Wildcats t-shirt pic which is cute too don’t get me wrong.

Blessings to you and your family,

  9. Hi Cyndi,
I too am finding encouragement from your blog. Both spiritually as well as the “beauty” tips. When you get back from your conference, maybe next week, you could share about your hair-styling techniques?

    Thank you!!

    Becky

  10. i’m so glad i found your blog through wwiw! love the encouragement from heb. 13:15. i, too, don’t have very cute exercise clothes… that’s something i’m planning on working on 🙂

  11. Love the pop of color with the necklace. I also asked my husband to take my picture, and he was like “why”. I was trying to explain WIWW and he couldn’t understand the what and why of it! Ha! Next time, I’m asking my daughter. I will get less questions! Ha!

  12. Could you email me the brand and number for your glasses. They are so cute. I would like rimless and need to order very soon…thanks!

  13. Cyndi, even in your rough photo you are just too cute! 🙂 I love anything purple so I love the top outfit, and the bottom one at the conference is so cute!!
