What’s Your Fashion Style?

Do you know your fashion style?

Are you sporty(like my sister who wears yoga pants everyday :-)) trendy, or classic?

One way to see the style’s you like is to look at the outfits you pin on Pinterest. You are on Pinterest, right? If you’re not send me your email and I’ll send you an invite! (You can follow me on Pinterest here.)

Another great thing about pinning outfits you like on Pinterest is you get ideas that will help you when you go shopping. I have the Pinterest app on my iphone so I can pull up outfits while I’m shopping.

Here are a few outfits I recently pinned~~

The red shoes got me! The outfit would not be as cute without those shoes.

Of course the scarf grabbed my attention with this outfit. I don’t look good in coral but I still love this look!

One thing I really want is colored pants. Aren’t these cute? I love this whole outfit! She’s wearing a striped shirt with a chambray shirt, blazer, colored pants, and nude shoes. This outfit is perfect!

So what’s your style? If you’re not sure, here’s a quick fashion style quiz that could help you. There’s only six questions so click here to take the quiz.

When I took the fashion style quiz, it said I was trendy. I think I might be a little trendy but it’s mixed with some classic pieces too.

I’d love to know your fashion style so please leave me a comment and let me know.

*****Don’t forget about my Olivetee giveaway!! These tee shirts are so cute and you get to share your faith through fashion.

Beauty For the Heart~~I’ve shared this poem before. It’s one of my favorites and thought you might enjoy it!

The Best Day of My Life

Today, when I awoke, I suddenly realized that this is the best day of my life, ever!

There were times when I wondered if I would make it to today; but I did! And because I did I’m going to celebrate!

Today, I’m going to celebrate what an unbelievable life I have had so far: the accomplishments, the many blessings, and yes, even the hardships because they have served to make me stronger.

I will go through this day with my head held high, and a happy heart.

I will marvel at God’s seemingly simple gifts: the morning dew, the sun, the clouds, the trees, the flowers, the birds.

Today, none of these miraculous creations will escape my notice.

Today, I will share my excitement for life with other people. I’ll make someone smile.

I’ll go out of my way to perform an unexpected act of kindness for someone I don’t even know.

Today, I’ll give a sincere compliment to someone who seems down.

I’ll tell a child how special he is, and I’ll tell someone I love just how deeply I care for them and how much they mean to me.

Today is the day I quit worrying about what I don’t have and start being grateful for all the wonderful things God has already given me.

I’ll remember that to worry is just a waste of time because my faith in God and his Divine Plan ensures everything will be just fine.

Tonight, before I go to bed, I’ll go outside and raise my eyes to the heavens.

I will stand in awe at the beauty of the stars and the moon, and I will praise God for these magnificent treasures.

As the day ends and I lay my head down on my pillow, I will thank Him for the best day of my life.

And I will sleep the sleep of a contented child, excited with expectation because I know tomorrow is going to be~~~

the best day of my life!

  1. I think it’s super hard to define my style- because it varies every day depending on my mood and what I’m doing with my 3 kids that day (flats & jeans- going to McDonalds, or heels & a leather jacket, date with my hubby!). I love a good trendy piece if it’s inexpensive, or a classic piece I’m willing to pay a bit more for if I know I’ll wear it for years (hello blazer!). But I’m always a bit funky, never boring!! Love your blog, super inspiring!!! Would love for you to check mine out if you get a moment!

  2. My taste is classic but the quiz picked me as sporty (I do like comfortable things!). I think the quiz might be more accurate with more than 6 questions 🙂 I re-pin many of your outfit pins.

  3. It said I am classic. I would agree! But if you saw what I was wearing right now, you would say, “get thee to a clothing store!” Talbots grey lounge pants with a too-small blue shirt with a blue hooded bathrobe. Paired with brown slippers. Not so classic! 🙂
    Fun quiz!

  4. I normally pin more trendy things, but honestly, I think I fall into all three categories. It depends on the day, where I am going and my mood. 😉 When I am home or just grocery shopping, sporty, like today I am in jeans, long sleeve KANSAS JAYHAWKS teeshirt ( 😉 )and nikes. But it changes every day. I love the second outfit you have posted. Super cute. And I think I already pinned the first one.

  5. My style was trendy, but I’m like you cyndi,I believe I have a lot of classic in me as well. That was a fun quiz. Most of all, I enjoyed the poem’s message.

  6. the quiz is telling me I’m casual. Which is half true. I do admire a pair of funky shoes and I do like dressing up occasionally but truth be told I am most comfortable in jeans and a pair of flats, just like I’m wearing today.

  7. My fashion style is Playful. “I love fashion but am not a snob or label lover.” Yes that is true. I like to mix and match. (Although I must confess that since I’ve been at home with the kids (last 7 mths) I’ve been just like Traci, living in yoga pants. It’s been a nice break from having to be fashionable due to job I had.

Thanks for the quiz. That was fun!
