Choose To Listen To The Voice of Truth

This past week I was so touched by Debbie’s testimony.

On Friday morning I drove to The Refuge for Women and spent time in prayer

with other prayer warriors and the ladies who are currently living at The Refuge.

The ladies living at The Refuge have lived through some very dark days and they

continue to need to be reminded that they are God’s treasure.

The enemy has told them so many lies but now they are surrounded by

people who want to speak and shine light into their lives.

How many times has the enemy spoke lies to you?

He tries hard to steal our joy doesn’t he?

But today, would you choose to listen and believe The Voice of Truth!

Have a blessed Sunday friends!

  1. I had to write when I saw the title of your post. Several weeks agao I was reminded very clearly to do this. I was in a situation that made me uncomfortable. For several days I allowed it to bother and until I was reminded in my Jesus Calling to bring all things to HIm. So then I prayed about it. I then was working on my Experiencing God bible study and that song came to me. I wrote “The Voice of Truth” in the maragin a few pages later there was this verse ” If you love me, you will obey what I command. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever–the Spirit of truth…You know him, for he lives with you and will bei in you” John 14: 15, 17 At this point I was just in awe. God is so good and I am so slow. I am making more of an effort to seek the voice of truth.

You and your sister are so sweet. It’s a pleasure to read both your blogs. I just lost my dad last month and I too am so grateful he knew our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. My mom is missing him so much. But I pray that time will heal and that she can continue to rest in God’s arms. Thanks to you and your sis for sharing about your mom. hugs, Lisa
