What I Wore~Black and White

Happy Wednesday friends! When I started taking pictures for What I Wore, I realized I was wearing too much black and white. I’ve been trying to add more color but this week was a failure. I went back to wearing a lot of  black and white!

So guess what I’ll be trying to incorporate into my wardrobe this week? Color!

Beauty For the Heart~~“Demonstrate your trust in me by sitting quietly in My Presence. Put aside all that is waiting to be done, and refuse to worry about anything. This sacred time together strengthens you and prepares you to face whatever the day will bring”– taken from Jesus Calling by Sarah Young

Take time today to read God’s word and pray trusting that He will strengthen you and direct your paths.

Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track. Proverbs 3:5-6 (The Message)

  1. Well, black and white is a classic look! I’m more of a color girl myself, though I’m actually starting at a cosmetology school in a week that requires a black and white uniform, so I’m staying away from those colors as much as possible when I don’t have to be wearing them! 😛

  2. That outfit with the polka-dot scarf is adorable! I personally am a huge fan of neutrals, but color definately is fun, too. I have a baby-blue polka-dot scarf much like yours above and your post just reminded me to bring it out! Maybe when the temps drop just a bit I’ll put it on in a similar outfit. So classic and simple, but the polka-dots make it fun! Scarves like that are another great way to add a pop of color to a black/white/khaki outfit.

  3. You look cute like always, Cyndi 🙂 Yes, I do wear TONS of black and white but I refuse to wear black all summer long, knowing I’ll be wearing lots come fall & winter). haha! Guess what? Two more sleeps and we go across the line for shopping!! Looove shopping in the US and can’t wait to see what Target & JC Penney have. Might pick up some of your “must-haves”! Lots of love to you Cyndi and pray you have a blessed week!

  4. Hi Cyndi! Sweet Summer Blessings to you!
Love the animal print shoes…..i have some as well and they seem to get the compliments! You look so pretty as always. Black and white is a classic. Bought a really nice scarf and hope to wear it this Fall. Don’t think you can go wrong with black and white!

    God richly bless you,
