Beauty For the Heart~Christmas Lights

Yesterday was warm we decided to put our christmas lights up outside. I laid them out and checked each strand to make sure they were working. Colt loved the christmas lights and I snapped a quick picture with my iphone.

Jesus said of His people:

“You are the light of the world.  A city on a hill cannot be hidden.  Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl.  Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.  In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.”  (Matthew 5:14-16, NIV)

Let your light shine and have a blessed Sunday!

I know, I’m taking my fall stuff down this week too. It kind of makes me sad though, it goes by too fast!

It’s been warm here in Texas, too, but the winds have shifted today, coming out of the north now and freeze warning for tonight. I noticed when I was out this afternoon, that some people have been going ahead and putting up outdoor lights while the weather is good. We haven’t gotten to it yet, but the hubby says he will try to do it this week on his day off. After cleaning house and putting away some of the fall stuff today, I am itching to get out the Christmas decorations!!!
