Fashionable Christmas-Shoes

12 Day To A More Fashionable Christmas

I’m having so much fun with the 12 days to a more fashionable Christmas! Today is Day 6 and I’m sharing some fashionable shoes with you.

It’s no secret that I love shoes! This time of year, I wear boots a lot but on milder days, I love to pull out my flats.

As I was looking for some cute flats to share with you I realized there are 3 styles that are popular. So if you’re looking for shoes to wear or shoes to give this holiday season, these styles would be perfect.

1. The Tuxedo Flat

I love wearing flats! I think they look good with skinny, straight or boot cut pants.

Do you wear flats this time of the year? What’s your favorite style?

I’m heading to Cincinnati to do some shopping with my son today. I’ll be taking lots of pictures and sharing them on Instagram. You can follow me here!

  1. Hi There … Just wanted to thank you so much for the “tip” My daughter & I were out shopping this evening & I was able to get to an old Navy. So happy to say I got the same charcoal grey as yours & lucky me a brown one as well 🙂
Love your blog & find it so very inspiring ~ look forward to reading it daily & now that I am on Christmas break I can enjoy it with my coffee !

    Merry Christmas ~
    Kathy

  2. I absolutely love your “swing” sweater, I am looking for one similar … where did you find this?? I live in a relatively small area but hope I will be able to find one . I too am in my 40’s and small so I have hard time with fit & sizes. I absolutely love your style & think we have similar taste. Thank you for all of your tips & tricks to help women in their 40’s look & feel their best 🙂

  3. I love flats, but ballerina flats don’t have enough support for me to wear all day. I like the Tuxedo shoes and cap toe. I have some vintage ones I’ll have to pull out.
I can’t believe you came to Cincinnati. I could have had you over for tea, or whatever toasty beverage you all enjoy! Plus, I know all the insider places to shop!

  4. I love flat shoes in the winter, Cyndi, unfortunately, tiny as I am, I have some seriously wide feet! My husband teases me and when I’m in good humor, says my feet look like “small hams”! So finding a flat shoe in a wide width that is flattering to the foot is tough. My 30 yr. old daughter wears flats in the winter ALL of the time. She has several Banana Republic flats in different colors and several patent leather flats in brights colors that look so cute. I love your ENTIRE outfit with your flats…very fashionable and comfortable looking. Have a wonderful time on your shopping trip. Can’t wait to hear about your finds 🙂
God watch over your travels. Thank you so much for Ps. 27:4. We all need a regular dose of that scripture to help us keep things in perspective.

  5. Great choices! I wear flats year round. I just love the smoking flats that are out now because they are a little wider and more comfortable to me. I think I need the ones you found at Target…the studded ones. Cute!

  6. I have been following your blog for some time now and I just love your style. I am 41 and truly have had no style for quiet some time. Worked a job where scrubs was the uniform and have not given my personally wardrobe any attention. I am not working, going to school and working on my degree. Your blog has inspired me to do something about this 🙂 thank you so much for sharing. You have incredible style.
