Somedays we need this written out for us! We are not defined by our mistakes or sins.
Psalm 103: 8-12 says,
The Lord is compassionate and merciful,
slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love.
He will not constantly accuse us,
nor remain angry forever.
He does not punish us for all our sins;
he does not deal harshly with us, as we deserve.
For his unfailing love toward those who fear him
is as great as the height of the heavens above the earth.
He has removed our sins as far from us
as the east is from the west.
Rejoice today knowing that you are forgiven!
Have a blessed day!
Amen Cyndi! I was amazed when I saw what you posted on… as I was thinking of that same topic yesterday! I had been reading in Corinthians where Paul said he is the “least of all apostles. Not even worthy to be called apostles”. But I LOVE Paul’s life and usefullness so, so much and thankful we’re not known by our past!! But washed in the precious blood of Jesus. If only I could learn to forgive and truly remember no more, like Jesus does for me 🙂 Have a blessed day Cyndi 🙂 lots of love from my snowy, snowy corner to yours!!
So true Cyndi. An yes, things could always be worse.
Hope you have an amazing week.
Gina
Amen! Wonderful post, we so need to be reminded that he is a loving Father.
This is so true and a reminder helps. My post today is about faith and following God’s will. So hard to do when times are tough but trying to remember that it could always be worse. Have a good Sunday!
