What I Wore-My Style

Hi friends! Today I’m sharing my What I Wore post. February begins the time of year when I don’t know what to wear. Temperatures are up and down and even though my closet is extremely organized now, I still feel like I have nothing to wear. I know I do, but I think I’m just tired of my clothes right now.

I’m really wanting a colored handbag to pop some color into my dreary outfits. I’m on the lookout!

  1. Hi Bella Michelle!
I hopped over to your blog and just so you know, I love all things Southern and consider myself a southerner. 🙂
    Thanks for stopping by!!

  2. Lovely! I buy a lot of handbags from justfab.com — they’ve always got a pop of color in a variety of styles and everything is only $39.95 so you’re not making a huge commitment.
    Enjoy your day, Cyndi!

  3. Hi Cyndi, I know what you mean about the temperatures running 78 degrees one day and 28 degrees the next, it’s beyond frustrating. I definitely don’t think it’s time to break out the spring wear, but as I asked myself last Wednesday when the low was 2 degrees, “Do I really want to bundle up in that burgundy turtleneck with the bulky navy sweater?” When the weather is swinging, I just have to go it (pardon me) “by the seat of my pants”. See what the day is supposed to bring and then figure something out. That can be utter disaster for a person like me who is critically allergic to decision making. I’m stuck! But you aren’t! All 3 of your outfits are so cute and are perfect for this time of year. I especially love your BR dress with the white shirt, how great! I was whining to my always “well-appointed” sister about it and she told me to “stop whining and change up my accessories,” and then added, ” but you really need to just overhaul ALL of your accessories!” That’s my little sister!

  4. Because you were talking about the yellow handbags yesterday, I got mine out of the closet and wore it tonight to church. Really cute outfit–jeans, boots, black sweater, white tank and the new “haystack” (yellow–lol) infinity scarf my mom crocheted for me. Looked awesome. Of course I didn’t take a picture before I got in my jammies!

  5. You are right! I do want that cute plaid and polka dot outfit!! 🙂 Thanks for sharing what you wore. I always enjoy this post.

  6. Hi Cyndi!

I love that pic you posted from Pinterest. I would wear something similar to that. You look beautiful in all of your outfits. I have added a few casual pieces to my wardrobe recently. I love designer labels, but not the prices, so I thrift shop a lot. I found a pair of Citizens of Humanity jeans, a new pair of J Crew Toothpick Ankle jeans, and a Hobo International wallet this week…for a total cost of about $10!

I hope you have a fantastic Wednesday afternoon.

  7. Oh my!!! I just found your blog (via Pinterest) and I love it!!!! Now I just have to read more! Your style is so wonderfully fashionable, flattering, modest and that oh so hard to find quality…age appropriate without being frumpy! LOVE!!!!

    Have a wonderful Wednesday!

  8. I added some fun costume jewelry! And I bought a set of shoe stretchers so I can more comfortably wear some of my more fun shoes (why are they always so narrow at the toe? After your post about yellow purses I’m on the look out for a fun color!
