Stitch Fix #2 and Why I Love It!

Good morning! Today I’m going to share Stitch Fix #2 with you and why I love it. If you’d like to learn more about Stitch Fix you can go here.

Stitch Fix

They always send five items and this time I kept two of them. Here’s what they sent and what I kept:

I loved the style and the detail of this ruffle button up tank. I really wanted to keep it, but unfortunately it was too big.

Stitch Fix 3

I thought I would  love this black and white print blouse but when I tried it on, it didn’t look that great so I decided to send it back.

Stitch Fix 4

I did keep this spencer striped jersey dress. I loved the length and style of this dress. I paired it with boots but it will be much cuter in warmer weather with a pair of sandals.

Stitch Fix

I also kept this striped lace cardigan. It’s light weight and and I love the lace detail and you can’t go wrong with stripes.

Stitch Fix 2

They sent a scarf but I didn’t keep it and I forgot to take a picture. I have plenty of scarves!

One of the best things about Stitch Fix is that I’m adding unique pieces to my wardrobe. I probably would not have even tried these pieces on if I had seen them in a store, but I love them both. They’re great quality pieces and I will keep them for years.

Do you like adding unique pieces to your wardrobe? What about pieces that will last for years?

If you decide to try Stitch Fix, would you mind using my referral code? Thanks so much!!

  1. Cyndi, Just found your website and your ‘over 40’ tips! Love them! My question about Stitch Fix – would they send you the correct size if it doesn’t fit and you want to buy it? Thanks!

  2. Hey Gina,
I felt the same way, I would have loved to have kept all five pieces of my first box but I couldn’t. I was still glad I got one thing and it was worth it.
Let me know what you think!
    Cyndi

  3. Hey Lorraine, thank you so much for trying to give me credit. I don’t think you have to put a promo code in. They may have promo codes sometimes but I haven’t ever seen one.
    Thanks,
    Cyndi

  4. I think that’s what’s great about Stitch Fix, you can get it when you need it, or can afford it. I was glad I didn’t like all five pieces in my box. I’m glad you kept one.
    Blessings,
    Cyndi

  5. Hey Lee Ann, When I decide what I want, I sign in to my account and there’s a place to select what I kept. Then they charge my credit card. The other pieces are sent back in a postage paid white bag/envelope that they have placed in your box. You don’t pay to ship back what you don’t want.
    I hope that helps,
    Cyndi

  6. Hey Cyndi.

I love the dress and cardigan on you. The black and white blouse was beautiful…too bad that didn’t work. I received an email that my first fix has shipped. I’m pretty sure I connected with stitch fix via your link, but you might want to check on your end. I’m worried that I will love all five pieces, but I will not be able to keep all. I almost cancelled for that reason, but I thought I’d try the pieces on anyway. I’ll let you know what I get and what I keep.

Hope you have an amazing afternoon.
    Gina

  7. Cindy,
When I click on your referral code link for Stitch-Fix, it links me to the get started page, and it is looking for a promo code. Are ther a series of numbers? I’d like for you to have that credit!

  8. Hi Cyndi
Really enjoy your blog:) I can’t find your referral code for Stitch Fix-can you send it to me? I think I’m going to give it a try!
    Thanks

  9. Hi Cyndi,
I received my first Stitch Fix last week! I was a little suprised that I really liked all 5 items, especially for my first box. I only kept one item because 2 shirts were a little tight in the arms and I already had a necklace and black shirt very similar to what was sent to me. I agree with you, I probably wouldn’t have tried on 3 of the tops if I had been shopping but I was suprised that I liked them when I tried them on. Only wish the other 2 tops had fit!! I’m hooked,if I could afford to I would schedule a fix every week but I have to wait till the end of March for my next box!! Thanks Cyndi!

  10. OH, I love that cardigan! That black and white blouse was pretty too–hate it didn’t work for you. I’m supposed to get my next fix next week. I really hope it goes better than the first!

  11. You know how much I loved my first Stitch Fix and I kept all the pieces (won’t be able to do that next time!). So far I’ve combined them with items I already have and have worn my new pieces to church, a funeral visitation, a wine tasting, date night, and shopping trip. Can’t wait for my next one in April!!

  12. I love your choices! I, too, would have kept the same ones. When you choose what you want, do you then pay for them? Do you have to pay to ship the unwanted items back?
