What I Wore-My Style

Happy Hump Day! Today is What I Wore-My style. I’ve mentioned on my  facebook page that I spent the last several days at the hospital with family members, it has been a busy and somewhat difficult week. But in the midst of it all, God is still good!

My goal this week was to not wear my winter boots everyday. Our weather has been up and down but we’re still having a lot of cold weather, so I can’t put the winter clothes away yet.

Have you been able to pull out any of your spring clothes yet?

Beauty For the Heart~~I’m reading the book of Ephesians and this verse jumped out at me. “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” Ephesians 2:10(NLT)

I hope you know today, that you are God’s masterpiece!

Have a blessed day!

  1. HI Cyndi
Love your Jean Jacket with your colored jeans. I am looking forward to buying some for spring. I posted on your blog last Friday about a jean jacket I have that is very old and is the acid wash look. Would love to send you a picture of it. How do post picturs to your blog?

    Susan

  2. Hi Cyndi.

You look awesome in all of your outfits. I haven’t pulled out spring clothes yet, although we’ve had several days of nice weather. It was 60 yesterday and 57 today. I just love fall clothes and colors and spring clothing not so much. I’m interested to see what Stitch Fix sends me at the end of the month. Let us know what you get.

Hope your week has been great and keeps getting better.

    Gina

  3. Oh I’m loving your copied outfit. I am so looking forward to warmer weather. Our weather is up and down as well. This past weekend, nearly reached 60….today flurries.

  4. Hi Cyndi, Each of your outfits is darling and look SO good on you. Love the denim jacket with the coral? or red? jeans. It is a great transitional look. However that greytop, white shirt and FABULOUS necklace is a definite DO. You carry off the statement necklaces so well. As much as I love statement necklaces I have been hesitant to try one. Since I wear glasses full time, I just wonder if the larger necklaces along with my glasses, the look would be too “busy”. Happy, Blessed Wednesday!

  5. Glad your sister is home recuperating. Your outfits are adorable. NJ had a couple days of 55-60 and I actually wore dressy healed flip flops! We are back to cold temps so boots are back on my feet! Thx for sharing. 🙂

  6. and Yes, I have pulled out all my Spring clothes and put away some of the winter clothes that I didn’t wear much this past winter. I need all my spring clothes out to see what I have and see what I will need to buy!! I know I need some accessories badly…

  7. Love all your cute outfits. You are an inspiration to us ladies over 40!! I have never worn bright colored jeans…but this summer I think I will try a pair of floral jeans! What is your opinion on floral jeans?

  8. Still deep in winter here in MN. It was 10 degrees this morning when I woke up. I love your outfit with the jean jacket and colored jeans. I’m still trying to talk myself into a pair of colored jeans (Costco has some cute ones right now). Since I never have very many clothes, I usually tend to buy styles and colors that don’t stand out. If I had red jeans, I’d be self conscious about wearing ‘those’ jeans…. again.
Silly, I know, I’ll work on it!
Since we won’t see spring for several more weeks, I’ll live vicariously through you and your spring fashions for a while.
    Take care,

  9. No spring clothes yet but took a nice walk today in the sunshine. After reading your sister’s blog , I am praying for her and your family members. I look forward to your outfits every day.

  10. I have never put away my spring/summer clothes except shorts. I moved from VA to TX, so while most are wearing heavy clothing when temps are in the 40’s -high 30’s, I am wearing short sleeved tops paired with long sleeved blouses

  11. That would be no; it’s snowing here in Cincinnati and my boiler is still broken. We did have weather in the 60s a few days ago, but that just meant I took off a few layers on my run! Glad to hear you sis is OK.
Your clothes this week are very cute. I used to have a pair of leopard flats just like yours until they eventually fell apart. May have to get another pair in pointy toe.

  12. Love the leapard print shoes… can’t wait to wear flats! We hardly have snow but it’s still on the cold side and am wearing boots still. Today is supposed to be 13C so that will be sooo nice!! Praying for family members have a quick recovery, Cyndi!!! 🙂 have a wonderful day

  13. Great looks, not ready to change over my closet to Spring quite yet… I did however switch from boots to ballet flats and from tights to leggings for today’s post…
Hope all well with family members, praying for your family…

  14. Your outfits are seriously adorable! I always want every one of them! I’m also a fan of your hair, never one out of place!! 😉
