Help For Dark Circles

I’m always, always looking for products that will help with my dark circles. The older I get the more they seem to be showing up. Ugh!

I know there are things that can help such as sleep, drinking lot of water, eating healthy etc. but on those days that some of these things are lacking I need extra help. Lots of extra help!

I recently tried MAC’s Prep + Primer Highlighter in radiant rose. It’s a pen-style creamy highlighter that brings a sheer wash of color to the skin wherever it is applied. It can be used under makeup to prime and brighten, or on top of makeup to highlight.

This highlighter is thin and creamy, with a sheer pink tint. It’s buildable, so if you have very mild under-eye darkness, you might not need an additional concealer. If you do have severe darkness, like me, then this will work well when combined with your favorite concealer.

It blends very easily making the product undetectable. I apply it with MAC’s 224 Tapered Blending Eye Shadow Brush. I also apply my concealer with this brush and I love it!

Do you struggle with dark circles? Have you tried any products lately that you love?

Beauty For the Heart~~Today is Maundy Thursday. Ever wonder what Maundy means? It’s derived from the Latin word mandatum, meaning “commandment”.

Maundy refers to the commands Jesus gave his disciples at the Last Supper: to love with humility by serving one another and to remember his sacrifice.

While they were eating, Jesus took bread. He gave thanks and broke it. He handed it to his disciples and said, “Take this and eat it. This is my body.”

Then he took the cup. He gave thanks and handed it to them. He said, “All of you drink from it.  This is my blood of the new covenant. It is poured out to forgive the sins of many.

Here is what I tell you. From now on, I won’t drink wine with you again until the day I drink it with you in my Father’s kingdom.” Matthew 26:26-29

Have a blessed day!

  1. P.S. is this different from the correctors (BBrown & CGirl) you posted about or just another similar product that works well?

  2. You’re a mind reader, Cyndi! I use a great product for eliminating dark spots and have just been wondering if it will help dark circles. I’ll report back on that experiment, but meanwhile at least I can camouflage them. I recently read to go pink on the under-eye circles and you’re right on, again.
