Simply Sunday-I Need You

Happy Easter! What a glorious day to celebrate Jesus! I can hardly wait to get to church this morning and worship with my church family.

I love to share songs with you that are speaking to me. I’ve been listening to this song by Matt Maher a lot. It’s a great reminder of how I need Jesus and boy do I NEED HIM!

Lord, I come, I confess
Bowing here I find my rest
Without You I fall apart
You’re the One that guides my heart

Lord, I need You, oh, I need You
Every hour I need You
My one defense, my righteousness
Oh God, how I need You

Where sin runs deep Your grace is more
Where grace is found is where You are
And where You are, Lord, I am free
Holiness is Christ in me

Teach my song to rise to You
When temptation comes my way
And when I cannot stand I’ll fall on You
Jesus, you’re my hope and stay

Do you know Him? If not, I’d love to talk with you, you can email me at cyndispivey(at)gmail(dot)com.

Thank you for stopping by! You’re a blessing to me!

This is currently my favorite worship song. The words are such a beautiful reminder that without God, we are nothing. Happy Easter to you and your family.
