Simply Sunday-Make Me a Blessing

Simply Sunday-God wil bless us

The righteous will flourish like a palm tree,
they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon;
planted in the house of the Lord,
they will flourish in the courts of our God.
They will still bear fruit in old age,
they will stay fresh and green,
proclaiming, “The Lord is upright;
he is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in him.”

Psalm 92:12-15

The Lord will guide you continually,
And satisfy your soul in drought,
And strengthen your bones;
You shall be like a watered garden,
And like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.

 Isaiah 58:11

But the path of the just is like the shining sun,
That shines ever brighter unto the perfect day.

Proverbs 4:18

For the Lord God is a sun and shield;
The Lord will give grace and glory;
No good thing will He withhold
From those who walk uprightly.

Psalm 84:11

Blessed are those who dwell in your house;
they are ever praising you.

Blessed are those whose strength is in you,
whose hearts are set on pilgrimage.
As they pass through the Valley of Baka,
they make it a place of springs;
the autumn rains also cover it with pools.
They go from strength to strength,
till each appears before God in Zion.

Psalm 84:4-7

Have a blessed Sunday!

  1. Happy Sunday Cyndi, Thank you for the satisfying dose of spiritual encouragement today. This has been a very, very sad week for me. My heart is very heavy and I’ve had a hard time praying. Doesn’t it seem sometimes like the more we want to pray the more difficult it is for us? Sharing this Scripture has helped me to pray.

  2. Cyndi –

    Thanks for the encouragement from Scripture today! Our God is worthy of praise!

  3. Thanks for sharing such encouraging passages today! Ps. 92:12-15 are life verses I chose in college! So thankful that HE is the source of my life–whether in youth, middle-age or old age! My all the fruit in our lives bring HIM glory!

    Psalm 145:2-4 Every day I will praise you and extol your name for ever and ever.
    Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom. One generation commends your works to another; they tell of your mighty acts.
