What do you wear the most in the summer, shorts or cropped pants?

Beauty For the Heart~~I loved what my devotion said this morning. It was just what I needed to hear. “Don’t let the impact of the world shatter your thinking or draw you away from focusing on Me. The ultimate challenge is to keep fixing your eyes on Me, no matter what is going on around you.” -Jesus Calling by Sarah Young

Have a blessed day!

  1. All I can say is, I agree with every post on here…but it bears repeating! I love your style!
    Thank you for sharing!

  2. Cyndiiiiiii…. you look like a major fashionista in every outfit you are wearing. I loved the maxi skirt when we took a peek at it earlier. I must tell you that the aqua/turquoise color you are wearing in the first picture just makes you light up! Do you wear that color often? You should! Love the crops in both pics, but especially the ankle pant in the first pic. I love to wear ankle pants and they can be hard to find in petites. I have a great pair of heavy duty khaki ankle pants I got at Ann Taylor a couple of years ago and they still are in great shape. I wonder if there is such a thing as lasting forever?? 🙂 Be so blessed!

  3. I don’t have any problems and to be honest I’ve worn some shoes that have killed my feet before. I try not to do that now. I’m sure a better shoe with support is better to wear but I would miss some of my sandals.
    Thanks for stopping by!

  4. Thanks for your opinions Jessalyn. I’m wearing a maxi skirt because they’re super comfortable and very popular for spring and summer fashion.

  5. Thank you Carol and thank you so much for the encouragement!!
I do love fashion, but I love Jesus more and I hope that shines through,
    Blessings,
    Cyndi

  6. Yes Sarah, I got the skirt last week. They also had a cute black and white striped maxi dress but not in my size. If you see it, I’d get that dress. Too cute!
    Thanks for stopping by,
    Cyndi

  7. They have a black and white striped maxi dress that is adorable but they only had large sizes in it. I wanted it soooo bad!!
    Thanks for stopping by!

  8. I don’t Tracey but I’m sure it could be a problem as I get older. I know a lot of people say they have to have more support but it doesn’t bother me.
    Blessings,
    Cyndi

  9. I understand Kim. Shorts and tanks feel the best in the summer and I do wear tank tops with capris a lot. I can’t to be hot!

  10. Love the black and white outfit…. Adorable ! I saw a Dr Oz show a wek or two ago and he had a podiatrist on the show talking about different types of shoes for summer. This Dr said flip flops and other flat sandals are terrible for your feet and can develop all kinds of problems. I love the cute flat sandals that are out but now I am reluctant to buy any because of what she said. Have you had ny problems with your feet wearing flat sandals?? Thx 🙂

  11. #1… not good at all…. #2… adorable!…. #3 Ick. Why would you want to wear a maxi?

  12. Thanks so much for your dedication, love and the creativity you share as you model your outfits with us. I love your style, but I also love your heart for Jesus even more. I think He smiles at us women as we figure out what to wear. After the process is done of deciding what to wear each day, I like to go wherever I am heading and “forget” about what I am wearing.
I am so BLESSED through this blog!

  13. Love your maxi skirt Cyndi… (our lil’ 4yr old is sitting beside me as I look at this and she is showing some terrific style already and said “I like that one” when she saw your maxi skirt). hahaha! I love a nice pair of flat scandals in the summertime! 🙂 You always look soo great! Have a wonderful Wed.!

  14. You look cute in everything you wear, Cyndi! I like ankle length pants…found some at the Gap that I really like. However, I prefer summer dresses and skirts. I think they are more flattering at my age plus they are cool and comfortable. I have one maxi dress and have received compliments when I’ve worn it. It, too, is very comfortable and I feel very chic when I wear it. 🙂

  15. I am your same age and height. I think wearing the cropped pants works better with a wedge or a small heel for us peities… i wear a lot of casual dresses or skirts as i also deal with humid, hot temperatures…

  16. I live in the deep south and for all my life have worn shorts (and sleeveless tops) to cope with the heat. I am turning 47 this summer and am now starting to feel that those styles are for the younger ladies. (those without spider veins, etc!) But it is STILL HOT!! I do have a few pair of knee length shorts to wear at home, but tend to change to pants when I go out. My trouble is that at 5’3″, the cropped pants cut my legs off in an unflattering way so I lean towards pants (and am even HOTTER!) Oh the fashion dilemma, haha!

  17. Love the black and white outfit the most!! I just wore a total black and white outfit yesterday to go walking with my neighbor!! Black capris with white pinstripes down the sides, matching black and white blouse by Danskin fitness clothing and white Miley Syrus tennis shoes. and to top it off a solid white baseball hat to hide from the sun….had already sun-bathed the day before! 🙂

  18. I love Your Style….Most things you wear are also my style…sadly not the maxi skirt. I wore them when I was young, 7-8 yrs old..my mother made our maxi skirts and bought us some too….and now I just can’t wear them. But you look fantastic in them!!! <3
