My Latest Stitch Fix!

My Latest Stitch Fix!

Hi friends! I’m sharing my latest fix with you today. Some of you I know love getting your fixes, like I do. But I also know some of you have not tried Stitch Fix but I still hope you don’t mind me sharing my box with you.

I asked my stylist if she would send me transitional pieces for fall. I’m finished with summer clothes. I’m still wearing them but I don’t need to purchase any more.

Let me give you a word of warning! I tried these pieces on quickly and I’m not sure how I will style them. So don’t judge what I have on with them. 🙂

First, they sent me these Sanctuary bootcut jeans. They’re a green color and I’m not sure what I’m going to wear them with but I will need a slight heel because of the length.

My Latest Stitch Fix!

This is a Whetherly striped cardigan. You can never have enough cardigans this time of the year. Just for fun, I put it over one of my navy blue summer dresses and added a belt.

My Latest Stitch Fix!
I love this Kensie metallic polka dot sheer blouse! I’m a sucker for polka dots and metallic is very “in” this fall/winter season. This could be dressed up or down but I think it would be great for a holiday party.

My Latest Stitch Fix!

When I first saw this Nick & Mo embroidered cardigan, I thought, “no way!” I thought it looked old ladyish. But after I tried it on, I kind of liked it and I think with a cute pink scarf it will work. What do you think?

My Latest Stitch Fix!

I’m not keeping this Kensie belted dress. It didn’t look good enough for a picture.

My Latest Stitch Fix!

So that’s my latest fix! It’s time to start going through my fall wardrobe and see what I have, and what I might need want. Cooler weather will be here before we know it!

Have you been looking at any of the fall fashion trends? Burgundy seems to be making a huge comeback! Do you like that color?

  1. Just discovered your blog from a FB post by Stitch Fix…. and am so glad to find it! I’m 6 months from 40 and love finding other (non 20 something) bloggers. 🙂 Love your site and look forward to being a regular reader. PS ~ Waiting on my very first Stitch Fix package this week!

  2. I hope you will always post what you received in your stitch/fix boxes. I always love to see what they sent you and how you pair things. My favorite item you received is the pink and green sleeveless shirt……love that ! Sure wish they would have sent me that shirt.

  3. Just got my Fix last week. I get so excited when the box arrives. Thanks Cyndi for turning me on to Stitch Fix. It’s so much fun.

  4. Cyndi, dont be too hard on that flowered sweater, I think it would look nice next spring with a matching skirt in one of the flowers’ colors or navy. i like the striped cardigan also( i hope i get one!) I like burgundy and am glad its going to be a go to color this fall. Do you think something burgundy would go with your new verde jeans?

  5. I just joined Stitch Fix. I put your name in the comments section so I hope you get credit. Can’t wait for my first fix. Thanks

  6. An earlier post from you inspired me to give StitchFix a try. My first Fix arrived last Friday, and WOW! was I impressed! I kept everything (3 tops, 1 necklace and 1 scarf) and ordered a second Fix for later in September. My husband liked everything as much as I did!

  7. Good stuff! The polka dot blouse is my favorite! I like the NIck and Zoe sweater, but I think it’s one of those pieces you should love if you’re going to keep it. Just my 2 cents… 🙂
I’m ready for some fall options… I’ll be trying out Stitch Fix by the end of August and can’t wait!

  8. Hi, Cyndi! I agree with other postings in saying that it’s amazing that you received jeans that fit! I think you will like the green color of the jeans…it’s different! I don’t like the Nick and Zoe sweater and support sending that one back. I do love the polka dot shirt, but wish it was more fitted. I’ll bet you will style the shirt and it will be a winner.

  9. Hi Cyndi.

I love the polka dot blouse on you! The cardigan is also great on you. 🙂 You will probably find a lot of things to style the green jeans with. I do not like the embroidered sweater. The dress is super cute, but I would probably only wear it with an ankle legging/jegging type pant.

Glad you shared your fix. I love seeing these posts! 🙂

Hope you have a great week.

  10. I love the green jeans and the polka dot blouse. And I say keep the sweater! I like it! I am going to ask for this blouse in my next fix! Blessings! Susan

  11. I love the striped cardigan. I’ve been seeing those on VeryJane and some other sites. Great choice. The green color of the jeans might be one of the new fall colors too. I’m so ready for fall!

  12. I think your first impression of the embroidered sweater might have been accurate. It seems to lend itself to a look for someone older. I love the look with the belted striped cardi. Adorable wedges!

  13. HI! My favorites are the: 1. navy blue striped cardigan (really like that belted and with your navy dress); 2 the sweater with the flowers, though I wouldn’t be drawn to it to try it on, but it looks really nice and has a great contrasting navy trim. If you need the jeans, they’ll be helpful. My sister-in-law and I always shop together and we often ask, “Is it just a … shirt?” (knowing that it’s probably not a great item to add), and I always rate something I’m trying on, 1-10. It really has to be an 8 1/2 for me to keep it. You received some nice clothes and they’ll be great transitional items.

  14. I love the navy striped sweater! I’m iffy on the Nick & Mo sweater. I would try a scarf – the hit of pink might be just what it needs.

  15. Great clothes! I can’t believe you were so lucky to open a box and find a pair of cute jeans that fit. They look great on you. Love the cardigan too.

The Nick & Mo sweater is cute but it kind of looks too big for you. Maybe it doesn’t feel that way.
