Some weeks my emails have a theme. It’s kind of funny, but you ask the same questions.
One of those emails lately has been about the ankle boot. So, I thought I’d share 3 Ways to Wear The Ankle Boot.
The boot I’m showing is Ivanka Trump and I purchased it at TJ Maxx last fall. Obviously, if you like a shorter heel, you can still wear them the same way.
The sweater I’m wearing is INC open-front shawl-collar cardigan. Skinny jeans are from Banana Republic. Black ankle pants are from JC Penney and the boot cut jeans are Dear John from <arel=”nofollow” href=”http://www.shareasale.com/r.cfm?B=499218&U=467787&M=34959&urllink=”>Stitch Fix.
The first way is with a skinny jean. I like to wear mine cuffed but you don’t have to if your jeans are ankle length.
Next, I paired them with a pair of black ankle pants. This would be perfect for those of you who can’t wear jeans to work.
Lastly, I paired them with a pair of boot cut jeans.
How do you wear the ankle boot? Which way is your favorite?
Beauty For the Heart~~One of my readers shared this with me, “Someone once told me that life is like the back side of a cross stitch. Random threads from here to there, knots. One day when we are in heaven we will see the beautiful other side and it will all make sense.”
Have a blessed day!

I need help with pants length. I’m 6′ tall and a 14/16. I struggle to find tall pants that are stylish. Where should ankle pants hit at the ankle? I’m worried it looks like I’m wearing floods. (It’s a throw back to getting picked on in high school.) I’ve tried ankle pants but maybe they’re not for me. On the other hand, regular length tapered pants may be perfect for me. I’d love to hear what you think.
Great job with all three choices Cyndi! Beth
Well, I WEAR them with boot cut jeans, almost exclusively. But, looking at these pics, I actually PREFER the look with ankle pants! I’m so surprised! Now, I’m going to need to be a little more creative with my pants. Thank you for this post!
Boot cut is my fav. Short people like me, (5ft 1 in), can’t wear the cuff. Skinny jeans either…Being short has lots of limits 🙁
How funny! Today, I was going to email to ask if you could show me what shoes I should wear with bootcut jeans/cordouroys! Besides dressy boots, I don’t know how to make them casual… Thanks!
I love the bootcuts the best of these looks. I think if you just unrolled the jeans one time to make them slightly longer it would be enough to aid the proportion issue…At least that is what I found worked for me…
Oppps not loving..I meant looking*
Love each different way. Love my ankle boots too. Pretty outfit to-boot!
I think my favorite is the middle picture!!
I am not a big fan of wide legged jeans, and when jeans are rolled up they make the legs look shorter. You are loving amazing in your ankle-boots!! They look like sued? 🙂
Well we are iced in here in Central Arkansas! How is Kentucky? I like the ankle pants but my fav is the boot cut look. Love beauty for the heart! Have a fun day! God Bless
