It’s so easy to get caught up in our own life, and our own problems that we sometimes forget, we are to be Christ’s hands and feet here on earth.
We don’t have to travel hundreds of miles to serve, we can serve right where we are. There are people all around us that need help.
We can fix a meal, send a card, visit someone who’s hurting. Sometimes it can be as simple as a smile, or a hug.
The point is:
Mark 10:45 says, “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
We are called to serve.
Pray that God will make opportunities for you to serve this week. Let’s commit this week to do something! Do you want to?
Have a blessed Sunday!
That is awesome Audrey! It’s a great song!!
Blessings,

Cyndi, I wanted to let you know I shared this blog post with my pastor a couple weeks ago. It fits right with in with a Nehemiah series we are doing. Just last Sunday, our church performed Do Something by Matthew West with the video running behind. Over 2000 people heard that song this weekend. Thank you for sharing!
Well, now~ THAT was a great encouragement! 😉 I saw this a day late, but that’s ok. Thanks for sharing this. I can’t wait to go DO SOMETHING for someone asap. Have a blessed week!
Ohhhhthjs is just what I needed to hear, Cyndi!ive been putting something off that needs to be done (to help someone). Thx for the lil push that I needed!!!
Cyndi that happens to be my NEWEST favorite song!
What a blessing you are to me. I commit to doing something to serve and make a difference this week.
Good Morning Cyndi,
What a great reminder. We get all wrapped up in the thoughts of having to do something big to make a difference. When in fact like you said, just a smile. That can turn a person’s whole world around for the good. Have a blessed day my friend!
Blessings ❤
