What I Wore-Fashion For Women Over 40

Welcome! I’m so glad you’ve stopped by! This is the day I share what I wore but some weeks I feel I need to apologize.

I spent the weekend with our youth group and didn’t have time to take pictures. I’m also trying to get ready for my trip to San Francisco. Crazy!

I also know many of you work at jobs where you can’t wear jeans so I’m sorry I’m in jeans again this week. I promise I’m going to do better! 🙂

I love to try and mix patterns so I wore a polka dot blouse with a floral scarf.

Our weather has been cool so a coat is still a must. I recently received this jacket in my Stitch Fix box and I love it. It’s perfect for this time of the year.

I’m so honored to be co-hosting with Natalia. If you have never stopped by her blog, I highly recommend it!

You can join in on the 7×7  challenge with us!

All you need to do is take 7 pieces of clothing from your closet. Remix them to create 7 different outfits and then come back here to link up on April 2nd.

If you have a blog, we’d love to see what you’ve put together! Definitely write a post and link up with us.

If you don’t have a blog but still want to join, connect with us on Instagram by using the hashtag #7x7Remix so we can all follow along. Can’t wait to see what you come up with!

Do you think you could take 7 pieces of clothing from you closet and create 7 different outfits? I’d love to see what you come up with!

Beauty For the Heart~~These are some verses from my bible study this week.

Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.”  Mark 10:27

Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. Hebrews 11:1

Have a blessed day!

  1. I LOVE the pokadot with the flower scarf!! I do wear jeans to work everyday? I’m wanting to jazz up my wordrobe and love your posts!

  2. I love how you mixed those patterns. You got it just right! The jackets adorable. It’s still too cold here in Cincy for something that lightweight, but I feel the warmer weather coming.

  3. Oh no!! Our grass is starting to green up and I love it. Although I think we’re supposed to get snow next week. Ugh!!
    Blessings,

  4. Hey Kat,
They are not the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn. I did not get blisters but if I wear them for a long time they hurt a little.
I would not wear them if I were going to be on my feet all day.
    Thanks for stopping by!

  5. I love to wear looted denim for a dressier casual look.
Also, your new email server cuts off the right side of the email when I view with my iPhone. Just thought you would like to know. Love your blog!

  6. So sad. I am a faithful follower but haven’t gotten emails about your new posts in the last few days. Thank goodness, my best friend has let me know that there are new posts. But while she is getting notification or emails that you have posted something new, she wasn’t able to see the post. Anyone else having issues?

  7. Hi – those nude flats are CUTE! But the reviews on Target’s website say the back of the heel causes blisters – did you experience that? Thank you!

  8. I am a landscaper so I am in my “work clothes” most of the time. On Sunday morning, as I am looking for something that makes me feel like a lady again, I think of you 🙂 Thanks!

  9. We share such good taste–I just bought that same scarf at Target yesterday! 😉 I also like to mix patterns and like how you mixed it with the polka dot shirt; I plan to wear it with some of my striped shirts, too.

  10. Hi Cyndi,
Mixing prints is something I’m not very good at – thanks for your example today.
Also, I’m a little jealous of your green grass…I’m still knee-deep in snow (and more coming today…sigh!).
