Styling an Easter Dress

Hey friends! Is it Friday already? Where does the week go? I wanted to share something with you today, let’s just say it’s a new adventure.

But first, I wanted to show you a dress I recently styled for Cassie, a friend of mine. The dress is from The Limited and it’s her Easter dress.

Styling an Easter Dress

Here are a couple of ways I styled it for her.

Easter can be a little cool so I added an off white shrug. I love coral and navy together and I thought this necklace could be the focal piece. Then I added some gold bracelets, stud earrings and nude heels.

The next way I styled it is with a coral blazer. Then I added a long necklace with some hoop earrings and wedge heels.

Now, for my new adventure. I love to style outfits and to be honest, I get a lot of requests to style a dress or a piece of clothing.

Actually I’m getting more than I can do, and my husband is starting to complain a little about the amount of time I’m spending on my computer.

I love, love, styling outfits but to be fair to my family and to do the best I can possibly do, I’d like to offer my services for a small fee.

Here’s what I’ll do: (Go here for my Styling Services page. It’s under About Me in my header.)

1. Style an outfit for you with accessories. (You have the dress, shirt, skirt or pants and send me the link of where you purchased it.) You can give me the amount you’d like to spend. I’ll have this done in 2 business days for a styling fee of $10.

2. I’ll pick out a dress or outfit for your special event such as a wedding, graduation, etc. If you want this, send me a picture of yourself. I’ll pick out your outfit and style it with accessories. I’ll have this done in 3 business days for a styling fee of $15.

There are other things I’d love to add to this in the future. Possibly some skype conversations, wardrobe consultation but for right now this is where I’m going to start.

***This does NOT mean that you can’t email me with questions about styling, I don’t ever mind, but for an entire outfit and for a quicker response I’m going to try it this way.

I hope all this makes sense, please let me know if you have any questions. Is there anything else you would like for me to add? I love your ideas!

Beauty For the Heart~~In May, I’m speaking to a group of women about “Beauty For the Heart”. How do we look beautiful from the inside? It’s not always easy. Bitterness, anger and pride can easily rear their ugly head.

But God’s word says, “Lord, may the words of my mouth and the thoughts of my heart be pleasing in your eyes. You are my Rock and my Redeemer.” Psalm 19:14 (NIRV)

Praying today that our words and our thoughts will be pleasing to Him.

Have a blessed day!

  2. Love the navy/coral color combo. The nude wedges are on my list of things to get this spring, peep toe. I primarily buy dresses from Ann Taylor and Talbots, they are so classic you can wear them forever. Love to see your styling ideas! I haven’t tried the dress/blazer thing, but it looks cute!

  3. Wonderful News Cyndi! I love all the ways you style yourself! I will be contacting you soon to style something for me and I can’t wait to try this service!!! Thanks a bunch!!!

  4. Good for you!! You do such a magnificent job of styling–I’m so proud of you for setting up a service! I know you spend a lot of time doing this, and it makes sense for you to be compensated for your time. I hope this turns out to be a great business venture for you!! 🙂
