Today, I’m going to review two awesome products from Tree Hut that will help you get your skin ready for summer fashion.
The Tree Hut products are Fig & Olive Detoxifying Mediterranean salt scrub and Raspberry Macadamia Daily Defense Cream and make sure you read to the bottom to enter the giveaway.
The first product I’ve been using is the Fig & Olive Detoxifying Mediterranean salt scrub. Oh my goodness, it smells so good!
I love a good exfoliator, and Tree Hut’s Fig & Olive Detoxifying Mediterranean salt scrub is fantastic.
The ingredients include:
- Certified Organic Shea Butter: skin repairing & moisturizing, antiaging, promotes elasticity
- Mediterranean Sea Salt: high percentage of magnesium, sulfates, and potassium that help treat dry skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis
- Activated Charcoal: removes toxins and impurities
It also contains all sorts of natural oils (like avocado, safflower seed, evening primrose, and macadamia seed oils, to name a few) to nourish and moisturize your skin.
I use this salt scrub all over my body to help it feel smooth. It helps my skin look it’s best!
The next product I use after I shower is Raspberry Macadamia Daily Defense Cream. It’s a body lotion with SPF.
I can’t tell you how much I love the smell and feel of this one–the scent is absolutely delicious, and it feels so nice on my skin.
It contains SPF 20 to protect you from the sun (and really, we should be thinking about sun protection for the whole body, not just the face and neck).
The ingredients include:

- Aloe: skin healing
- Raspberry Seed Oil: skin repairing and conditioning
- Macadamia Seed oil: excellent skin moisturizer and protector, High in essential fatty acids for dry skin and scarring, effective antioxidant
I love how soft and smooth my skin has felt after using this regularly (especially combined with the salt scrub!), and love the security of knowing I’m using a product with SPF to keep me safe.

I’ve never used Tree Hut products that I know of. I love salt and sugar scrubs and I’d love to try this one out (if I can keep it away from my daughters).
I guess I’ll have to get to Ulta one of these days! I used to make a fabulous scrub with salt and olive oil, and also with yogurt or buttermilk and salt. Just think Cleopatra and her milk baths. the latter was suggested by a dermatologist. Silky smooth to say the least, but it’s always easier to just open a jar!
