How To Stack Bracelets

One of my readers recently emailed me about how to stack bracelets. If you haven’t noticed, it’s a popular trend.

How to stack bracelets

So here’s my secret—-I copy! I look in magazines, and at other blogs. I have several pictures of stacked bracelets on my jewelry Pinterest board if you want some ideas!

Atlantic Pacific wears a lot of bracelets.

How To Stack Bracelets

It’s a good idea to get some basic bracelets to stack and then you can add some bracelets that have color. (I obviously have a thing for orange!)

How To Stack Bracelets

(Left to right) 1. Coral bangle// 2.Gold chain// 3. Christina link bracelet// 4. Adelina cuff// 5. Tampa Arrow Bangle// 6. Bullet bangle// 7. Sara Cuff in Coral// 8. Fireball Fab Cuff Bracelet// 9. Cutler Bay Neon bracelet in orange.

I don’t have an expensive watch, I purchased mine at Francesca’s and I wear it with my bracelets. Also, I generally wear gold jewelry but if you prefer silver, you can purchase them in silver.

Do you try to stack your bracelets? Do you have a favorite one you wear a lot?

Beauty for the Heart~~One of the things you’ll find on my blog I hope, is modesty. I believe true beauty begins on the inside and women of all shapes, sizes, colors etc. can be beautiful.

The Bible says, “Instead, your beauty comes from inside you. It is the beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit. Beauty like that doesn’t fade away. God places great value on it.” 1 Peter 3:4 (NIRV)

I also found this quote on Pinterest and thought it was worth repeating….Classy is when a woman has everything to flaunt, but chooses not to show it. -Author Unknown

  1. My sweet hubby got me a gorgeous Michael Kors watch for our anniversary/mother’s day and oh my I LOVE it. I had no idea how much more dressed up I would feel with a watch. I love mixing bracelets with it. I will admit that at first I totally only wanted it as an accessory but now I really love that I can actually look at the time without pulling out my phone. I don’t wear it every day though – I don’t want it to get scratched up when I’m playing in the sandbox with my kids! 🙂

  2. Hey Kellie,
Sorry I’m just answering your question. You can do whatever you like. Personally, I don’t wear any bracelets on the other arm but I do see other fashion bloggers wearing bracelets on both wrists.
    Hope that helps!
    Cyndi

  3. Hey Mary!
You’re right, it’s just an oversized watch. My husband says it looks like we’re wearing a men’s watch. Ha!
    Blessings,
    Cyndi

  4. Yes. A Boyfriend watch is an over-sized watch that looks like a man’s watch. I usually go for more feminine accessories but I followed my daughter’s advice and got one at Charming Charlie’s a few months ago and I LOVE it! I wear it almost every day.

  5. This may be a silly question… but, most pictures show one wrist with the stacked bracelets – what is on the other wrist?

  6. I love to stack bracelets too but I hate it when they make a noise so I make sure that I stack those that don’t really create much sound whenever I move my arms. Stacking bracelets is more fun than wearing a single bulky piece. Thanks for sharing this! Now I am getting the urge to give my favorite local fashion jewelry store a visit. 😛

  7. This is something my Mom says I have done all my life! I just laughed, until I went through some old pictures and sure enough. I have a whole collection of watches and bracelets of different metals/stones/jewels/leather. I go to sales, garage sales, estate sales and flea markets. I even have been known to wear large hoop earrings as bracelets, lol. Stacked Bracelets, sunglasses and lipstick – and I am ready to go, ready to tackle what ever comes my way! Pinterest has some great pictures for ideas.

  8. Thanks Cyndi! I love learning about these bracelets. I’m loving all the comments too. I like the orange bracelet #9, 2 & 4 above! I’ll check out your pinterest board too! Thanks for all the great ideas! I love your blog !

  9. I love this idea! I have a set of gold basic bangles, there are I think 6 of them that I love. I have a Judith Ripka silver link toggle bracelet that I have been wearing for years and I love it! Love my Pandora braclet, but it is heavy. Have started collecting bracelets of Chico’s sale table (I am too short for their clothes, and I think they are more for my mom’s gen, but they have gorgeous jewelry) Love the pictured enamel bracelet. I recently bought a Coach watch at TJ Maxx that is like a simple small boyfriend that I totally love. Wow, I need to get a grip, great subject!

  10. I love the look, but it seems that I never take the time to actually put it together myself. I have tons of bracelets, but I hardly ever wear any of them anymore. Maybe I’ll give it a try again.

    Thanks for sharing Cyndi!

  11. Richella, I have always remembered something my college art teacher said: ODD numbers of items makes a more pleasing artistic balance than even numbers. That might help in the answer to your question.

  12. Great post, Cyndi! I love the look of stacked bracelets, and I’m trying to wear them more and more. Because my wedding rings are platinum and my good watch has a stainless bracelet, I usually wear silver jewelry–but I have a new gold-tone watch AND I’m getting better at mixing metals, too! What do you think about mixing metal tones in one stack? Also, do you typically wear odd numbers of bracelets (e.g. 3 or 5 at a time rather than 2 or 4)?

  13. I love bracelets too! Like Sherri, I like to mix in pearls. Something about that just feels girly and complete. #7 in your picture is gorgeous! Have you ever tried that brand? I have a birthday soon, maybe I’ll point that out to my husband. 🙂

  14. I LOVE the stacked bracelet look! I wear a boy friend watch paired with a chain (like one you pictured) and I usually add pearls. Depending on what I’m wearing and how girly I feel, I might just wear one lady-like bracelet, other times I pile on a few different sizes for interest. (Pearls are speaking to me lately!) I also add rhinestone bracelets especially if I’m wearing silver toned jewelry.

I’m also fond of the boyfriend watch just by itself when I’m wearing jeans and a t-shirt. I like the effortless way an oversized gold watch adds class to an otherwise boring outfit. (I got the idea for this look from Jennifer Aniston).

I usually get my bracelets from Francesca’s or Charming Charlie. I don’t like spending very much on them because they seem to get bumped and battered so much.

I love your blog and always get excited to see what each new post holds!!
