Sunday Encouragement-There’s Hope!

This past year, our family has been through a difficult year. But through it all I kept clinging to hope. I know that in the difficult times, God is our hope.

Sunday Encouragement-There's Hope!

The verse that keeps coming to my mind is is Genesis 50:20, You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good.

We are finally seeing the “good” that God has been working out. He’s been faithful and I choose to believe there are better days ahead!

Sometimes when I hear a song, I want to shout, YES!! This is one of those songs.

I’ve been running through rain that I thought would never end
Trying to make it on faith in a struggle against the wind
I’ve seen the dark and the broken places
But I know in my soul no matter how bad it gets, I’ll be alright

There’s hope in front of me
There’s a light I still see it
There’s a hand still holding me
Even when I don’t believe it
I might be down but I’m not dead
There’s better days still up ahead
Even after all I’ve seen, there’s hope in front of me

There’s a place at the end of the storm you’ll finally find
Where the hurt and the tears and the pain all fall behind
You open up your eyes and up ahead there’s a big sun shining
Right then and there you realize, you’ll be alright

There’s hope in front of me
There’s a light I still see it
There’s a hand still holding me
Even when I don’t believe it
I might be down but I’m not dead
There’s better days still up ahead
Even after all I’ve seen, there’s hope in front of me

There’s a hope still burning
I can feel it rising through the night
And my world’s still turning
I can feel Your love here by my side

You’re my hope
You’re the light I still see it
Your hands are holding me
Even when I don’t believe
Oh, I’ve got to believe, I‘ve got to believe

I still have hope
You are my hope

Since I’m doing 31 days of summer fashion. This is a dress I wore to church. The dress I’ve had for a while, my heels are BCBGeneration brand and I purchased them at Marshall’s.

31 days of Summer Fashion

I don’t know what you’re going through, but do you know there’s always hope?

Have a blessed Sunday!

  1. Hi Cyndi, thank you for your words of encouragement . I have been suffering from a debilitating disease for 12 years now. (Chronic fatigue syndrome) , I would love to be active again, riding bikes and walking with my husband. I know The Lord is in control and I try not to lose hope. I would ask you to please pray for me. So glad to hear that your family is seeing better days! I so much look forward to your encouraging words everyday. Also really enjoy Tracy’s blog.
    Many blessings to you!

  2. Thanks for sharing this song. I needed to hear encouraging words today. I keep focusing on the problems instead of on the Lord. Thank you for the reminder. I love your dress too!

  3. Great encouragement! That hope is what keeps me going. I’m glad things are looking up for you and your family!

  4. Hi Cyndi,

We’ve been through some pretty rough times this past year and still up till this date, but I never lose faith that the Lord is in control and there is a lesson to be learned from all this. We may not see it now, but I know that it is all in the Lords master plan.

I’m so glad that your family is finally seeing good and I’ll patiently wait as the Lord continues to work on our family.

  5. Wow….what a beautiful song and so full of encouragement that only God can provide. Thank you so much for sharing this artist. I had never heard that song until now but, it is so appropriate. God Bless you Cyndi and so glad to hear you and your family are coming out from the dark places that we all encounter at times.

  6. I don’t know if you know, but I run a blog for Danny Gokey. Loved seeing his lyrics pop up in my News Feed 🙂

Also, I will have to tell you the details in email, but that verse is *perfectly* timed as encouragement in our adoption journey. Another sign we are on the right path. Thank you, friend!!

  7. My favorite Bible verse as I was going through my divorce and its aftermath was Jeremiah 29:11:
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Thank the good Lord for the beautiful rainbow after the storm. 🙂

I am praying for you all. Have a blessed Sunday!

  8. Cyndi, I’m glad to hear things are looking up for y’all! I don’t know how people have hope without Jesus as their savior! Live you outfit! Good Lord’s Day to you and yours.
