Summer Fashion-Polka Dot & Sneakers

It’s day 23 of my 31 days of summer fashion. Today is a fun casual look. Although for a dressier look, you could pair this polka dot top with white pants and a cute pair of sandals. Summer Fashion-Polka Dot & Sneakers I’m not a fan of tennis shoes unless I’m working out. But I’ve been seeing these sneakers everywhere and decided to give them a try. Summer Fashion-Polka Dot & Sneakers This is the time to do some summer shopping, everything is on sale! This top from Old Navy was $8. When you’re shopping look for transitional pieces that you can wear in the fall. We’ll be talking more about this starting in August. I can’t wait! Summer Fashion-Polka Dot & Sneakers I got an action shot while taking my pictures. My sister called to discuss a video we’re going to do together about essential oils. She’s been wanting me to do it for days. I had to wait until I got my hair cut and colored. Now I’m ready. Ha! Summer Fashion-Polka Dot & Sneakers

Have you added sneakers to your summer fashion?

Beauty For the Heart~~No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead,  I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us. Philippians 3:13-14

I have been thinking about this verse all week. It’s one of those verses that has shaped my walk with Christ. Forgetting the past, looking ahead. Press on!

Have a blessed day!

  1. Love your outfit. I have worn keds with a tshirt dress before,of course that was in my younger days. My seventeen year old daughter has a pair of keds in teal color, she pairs them with navy&teal polka dot shorts and light teal top, real cute outfit. Love your Bible Verse as well, that is one of my favorites. Thanks for your inspiration.

  2. Cyndi, cute outfit! Love the dots. I wanted to ask…what do you for exfoliating legs for the sunless tanner? Thanks!

  3. I don’t wear tennis shoes a lot either. I think they do feel good but not a fan of the look so much now that I’ve gotten older. But I will wear them if I’m doing a lot of walking….feels much better for my feet, knees, and back. 🙂 I’ve tried Sperry’s and they seem to work fairly well as a replacement for sneakers/tennis shoes. Love your polka dots and looking forward to some posts on transitional pieces. :-).

  4. Cyndi, I was just thinking how I could transition some of my clothes into the fall. Really looking forward to seeing how you do it.
Im also excited about the video you and your sister are making about essential oils.
Love love the polka dot blouse and your cute black sneakers.
You are so adorable in this outfit!

  5. Love the outfit on you Cyndi! Cute as always. I’m looking forward to seeing your posts about transitional pieces.

I do have a question about when to tuck and when not to tuck in your top/blouse/shirt. I know that I loom slimmer if I wear more fitted clothes and tuck tops in, but is it even in style anymore? I also do the front tuck, the half tuck, etc. Just curious as to what you think. Maybe you could do a post of tucking???? 🙂

Have a great rest of your week. Thanks for sharing.

  6. I’m laughing because I just realized that my advice must have subconsciously come from what I’m wearing today…a gray and white striped t-shirt dress with flat red sandals and a red beaded necklace. 🙂

  7. Try wearing them with an outfit like Cyndi is wearing – I think red Keds would look adorable with an otherwise neutral outfit. If you want to tie in red somewhere else, put on a piece of red jewelry.

  8. I bought red Keds because I thought they looked so cute, but I really haven’t worn them much. Everytime I put them on I think I look ridiculous. My daughter says it is because I try to be to matchy!!!

  9. So glad you are going to talk about transitional pieces to wear now and into the fall. I want some new things to wear but don’t really want to invest in any other summer clothes:)
