I’m Overwhelmed By Grace

I’m overwhelmed by God’s grace. I don’t take it lightly. I know the sacrifices He made so that I could have it. And to be perfectly honest, I’m desperate for it.

I sometimes forget that past sins have been wiped clean. I still mourn them….but. there’s. grace

more grace
When I heard the words to this song, I was in my car. I almost pulled over and cried because of God’s mercy on me.

Here are the words, “I run into Your arms, Unashamed because of mercy. I’m overwhelmed, I’m overwhelmed.”

We get to go before the Father UNASHAMED because of what Christ did for us! I truly am OVERWHELMED.

I pray today that you will feel overwhelmed by His grace and know that you are loved by an almighty God who is holding you in the palm of His hands.

Do you sometimes need to be reminded of His grace? Do you have past sins that you mourn?

Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Hebrews 4:16

Have a blessed day!

  1. I am desperate for God’s grace too and grateful for it. I do mourn past and present sins too. “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” Romans 8:1

  2. So beautiful…Gods grace is truly amazing. I too can be overwhelmed and shed many tears at any given moment when thinking about it. This song is so beautiful too. Love Big Daddy Weave..thx for sharing Cyndi 🙂 you make God smile when you share His truth! God bless

  3. thank you. this is probably my greatest downfalling–forgetting that He did all this for me and has forgiven me for the things I tend to mentally berate myself for. sometimes I feel so disappointed in myself.

  4. Beautiful….we had such a great message this morning and then the closing song was so healing….and then I come home to this…and yes! yes! how we need God’s grace…and it is so freely given. Blessings on you and yours today!

  5. I too have teared up on more than one occasion when overwhelmed by His grace. I loved learning that once we ask forgiveness for our sins it’s actually sinful to dwell on them any longer….as if His grace is not sufficient enough. Yes, I cast my cares on Jesus!
