Fall 2014 Shoe Trends

It’s time to start looking at the Fall 2014 Shoe Trends. Boots are always popular for fall and winter but this year the boots range from short, the bootie, to tall, the over the knee boot, and everything in between.

You might think black is going to be the only shoe color this fall by looking at my pictures but I promise you can wear different colors. I must have been in a black mood!

1. The wedge heel and bootie is still on trend and if you like the gladiator look, you’re in luck, it’s still popular. Denim & Supply Starr Wedge Sandal

There’s a style this fall for all of us. Pick one or more that you like and you’ll be sporting some great fall looks!

Which shoes are your favorite? Which ones would you not wear?

Beauty For the Heart~~We all have doubts and bad days. We get our feelings hurt. We sometimes get mad at our husbands, our children aren’t perfect, friends can disappoint us. But God is always with us. When we’re having a bad day, the best thing we can do is give it to the Lord. Tell Him. He loves us unconditionally, and he listens to us.

God is in the midst of her, she will not be moved; God will help her when morning dawns. Psalm 46:5 (NASB)

Have a blessed day!

  1. I agree with the gladiator look. I just don’t think they look good on us “mature” women. Some things best left to the young girls.

  2. Hi Cyndi girl! These boots are all so attractive. I especially love the Life Stride boot with the buckles. The pointed toe on most of these shoes checks them right off of my wearable list. 🙁 I am a wide footed girl and pointed toes + wide feet do not equal comfort. I always look at my three sisters’ shoes (how did they all get B width feet!) and think they look so pretty and wish that I could wear pretty shoes instead of “what do you have available in a wide?”

  3. I bought a pair of Frye boots last year for $8 at a moving sale to add to my boot collection! I’m taking them to the shoe repair to be re-heeled but that’s what I call a real deal!!

  4. I would LOVE to have a pair of frye boots! The dress shoe with the buckle is very pretty. I can’t wait to see you style the over-the -knee boot 🙂
    xxoo

  5. Cheryl, I have a pair of riding boots I got from Naturalizer last year that I really find comfortable. I live in Alberta, Canada so we were our boots lots in the winter! 🙂

  6. I really like those Michael Kors flats! Wish I could afford them. I never feel comfortable in boots, so I haven’t owned any for many years. And can I just say I’ll be glad when the “gladiator” style goes out!

  7. New boots will be on my Christmas list this year, my everyday boots are worn out! Would like comfortable riding boots, if anyone has any brand recommendations. Don’t love the cutout shoes, will skip em. Don’t love short boots, but do like the flats, classic and can wear for several years. Love classic things, they can be wardrobe workhorses. Love the beauty for the heart!

  8. I have a pair of black, knee high Frye boots. My husband got them for me for Christmas, one year, and I think they are so cute, but they’ve never been comfortable. A friend of mine suggested wearing plastic bags on your feet to warm them up/break them in more, so I think I might try that. Beyond those, I have a wearing-out pair of UGGS in brown (ugly, but so comfy) that I wear to run the kids to school in. I think it’s time for me to go shopping. 🙂 I would probably wear the short bootie style, with a stacked or pump style heel. My go to shoe in the spring/fall is a short pump, by Clarks in a metalic taupe. Goes with jeans, leggings, or black slacks.

  9. beauty for the heart is so right on. even now, it is not always easy to admit to my Lord that I am having a bad day and need to give it to Him. Feels as if I am not properly maturing in my walk with Him but forget it is WITH Him. Thanks for the reminder

  10. My boots have buckles from two years ago. Good to know they are still in style. Will just add to what I have. Thanks, Cyndi. So ready for fall. Heat index 105 in Savannah!!

  11. Love the looks of these heels, but It can be challenging finding comfortable ones. I have wide Mini Mouse feet and bunions to boot, UGHHHHH.
