4 Beauty Products You’ll Want To Try

I love to share beauty products with you that I use and really like. Here are 4 Beauty Products You’ll Want To Try!

4 Products You'll Want To Try

1. L’Oreal Paris Extra-Intense Eyeliner-This is a liquid pencil eyeliner that glides on smoothly and evenly for beautiful definition in a single stroke. It comes in brown, which is the color I use. It is intense so use sparingly.

2. L’Oreal Elnett Strong Hold with UV Filter Hairspray– Where has this been all my life? This stuff is great!! Doesn’t feel like you’re wearing hairspray but definitely gives you lasting hold. I use the UNSCENTED because I’m not crazy about the smell.

3. Marcelle BB Cream Golden Glow-I received this as a sample in my Birchbox. It’s always a good idea to try those samples!! I fell in love with this BB cream and ordered the full size.

This  BB cream is a blend of powerful antioxidants and soothing aloe and chamomile work together to calm and even skin tone. Flecked with tiny, light-reflecting pigments, this hypoallergenic, gluten-free, perfume-free, and oil-free formula is perfect for those with sensitive skin.

4. Revlon ColorStay Shadow Links– I think you can buy several and link them together. Not sure, but I purchased the taupe color and love it. I like to keep it simple and apply one color to my lid most days.

I thought I’d share another Young Living essential oil I use everyday. Have you ever heard the song, I’ve got the Joy, Joy, Joy, Joy down in my heart?

Every time I use this oil, I think of that song. I rub a little bit of this oil over my heart several times a day. This oil has an uplifting scent and promotes feelings of love.

The great thing about this one is, it comes in the Premium Starter Kit. Many of you have ordered the Premium Starter Kit and you’ll get to try this oil. Yay!! I think you’ll love it.

Have you tried any of these products?

Beauty For the Heart~~I knew that I could count on you all to pray for Bennett. Thank you so much!! And I will update you about her in the coming weeks. I love being a part of the “church.” Even though we may not go to the same church building, we are all connected as believers.

So now you Gentiles are no longer strangers and foreigners. You are citizens along with all of God’s holy people. You are members of God’s family. Together, we are his house, built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets. And the cornerstone is Christ Jesus himself. Ephesians 2:19-20

What a blessing!

  1. Hey Rebecca,
Both companies are good. I have used both. I’m now a part of Young Living and I love them, I especially like their vitamins and the Ningxia Red.
Most of the oils smell really good so it doesn’t bother me.
    Hope that helps!
    Cyndi

  2. Loreal age perfect bb cream is a can’t live without product for me. I use it under my foundation, it does have a slight tint, and gives a slight glow.

  3. I LOVE it when bloggers write a post listing some of their favorite things, whether it’s beauty products or cleaning products! Yes, I’m weird that way:). Also, I had to tell you that I worked in a dental office for five yrs for a female dentist that was soooooo difficult to work for. Anyway, I was lucky enough to have two wonderful coworkers and when things got really stressful, we would sing to each other….”I’ve got the joy, joy, joy, joy down in my heart!” It’s amazing how that would help to make us laugh and lift he mood.

  4. Cyndi, thank you so much for sharing the beauty products. Perfect timing too because I have been looking for a good hairspray that doesnt leave my hair so stiff feeling.
Cannot wait to try the liquid eye pencil and also the taupe eyeshadow.
I love seeing your tutorials on applying eye makeup. I sure would love to see one with just using one shadow and the new liquid liner. 🙂
Oh and you have peeked my interest too about the essential oils. I want to figure out which ones I want to try.

  5. Oh, I forgot to mention that I have been using oil of spearmint for years to calm h stress and help relieve anxiety and depression. My grandmother (the other one) first recommended it to me 20 years ago. Back then, she knew a lady who made essential oils and kept me supplied. It works wonders. I have to take 3 different anti-depressants the way it is and having the oil of spearmint keeps me (I believe) from having to take additional anxiety medication. Several years ago when I was having a long series of electroconvulsive therapy (shock treatments), the spearmint oil was also very helpful with the side effects. I’ve never ventured into trying any other essential oils, I’m going to do some studying and consider using some.

  6. Hi Cyndi, You know, I seem to remember that Marcelle was a very popular skin care and cosmetics line years ago. My grandmother, who passed away last year at 100 yrs old., was a long time Marcelle user and had gorgeous porcelain skin until the day she died. I remember her becoming very distraught when she could no longer her beloved Marcelle products and had to use something else. I wonder if this is the same company re-emerged from years back? My interest has been piqued now, particularly since you like as much as you do. I’m giving this one a look. Thanks for sharing. Be Blessed!

  7. Hi Cyndi,
You have peaked my interest in essential oils. Think I read somewhere that you’ve tried doTERRA essential oils too. Would you share your opinion between doTERRRA and Young Living? In addition, how does one keep from smelling like all these oils if applied topically?

  8. I actually picked up the L’Oreal Extra Intense eyeliner (brown) by mistake. I have used the L’Oreal Infallible eyeliner pencil and prefer it. I found the Extra Intense to be a bit dark. While it does go on smooth, the line is not as precise as with the Infallible and left my eye looking a bit “muddy”. I think I’ll give it to my 23 year old daughter as she can wear a darker eye and look fabulous! I’m being tempted to try the essential oils! Happy Monday!
