Good morning! I’m headed out this morning to our family fall day. We’re all meeting over at my Dad and Janet’s house and then we’re going to Devine’s Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch.
It’s a tradition for us and we love it! They have lots of things for the kids to do and then we’ll head back to Dad and Janet’s for lunch. We’re roasting hot dogs and smore’s over a fire pit. Yum! (I’ll be sharing pictures on Instagram if you want to follow along. 🙂 )

Thanks for the sales info!! Rich and I are heading to the Crags today to hike a 5 mile trail and to feast on the beautiful changing of the leaves in Colorado. The aspens are a glorious yellow and with the reds and oranges of other trees, it is a fest of thankfulness and beauty. Our hike takes us to an overlook of numerous lakes, trees, valleys, and you can see almost forever. Have a blessed and beautiful day with your family!

I took my first-graders to Lincoln Birthplace and then on to a local pumpkin patch yesterday (taking advantage of a $2 off per child savings for coming in September)! Such a great time: sack lunches at a park, petting zoo. maze, play area, etc. my favorite time of the year!

Stopped to look at pumpkins last night at a local farmer’s market and to my delight, there was a petting zoo of miniature horses, baby goats, pigs, rabbits and even chickens. So much fun just watching them as we wandered along picking out pumpkins. Loving the fall weather and am looking forward to more of God’s beautiful handiwork as the leaves continue to change. Hope you enjoy your day with your family. God is so good.
I love this post, Cyndi! It’s nice to hear what your family is up to today. My hubby and I are heading to a local orchard for some fall fun, as well. Fall is my favorite time of the year for so many of the reasons listed on that printable. I may have to frame it! Enjoy your day!
