31 Days of Fall Fashion (Day 28)

It’s Day 28 of my 31 Days of Fall Fashion. 3 days left!! I’m kind of ready to stop snapping pictures of my outfits everyday. I’ll still share my outfits but I’ll go back to 2 to 3 times a week.

We have lots of things to talk about in November like hair, make up, holiday fashion etc. And of course for those of you wanting to join Alison and I, we’ll be Building Your Wardrobe Basics. Whew! It’s going to be a busy month!

Today I’m wearing some classic pieces.

One of the trends I like is adding some bling to a classic chambray shirt. This necklace is from Rocksbox. I’m trying this service out right now and I’ll share more about it in November.

We’re having some mild weather so I’m enjoying my leopard print flats before the weather changes tonight and turns cold. Then it will be back to boots!

Beauty For the Heart~~I wanted to give you an update on Baby Bennett. So many of you have been faithfully praying and I know her family feels the prayers!

Sunday Encouragement-Praying For Bennett

The surgery went very well. The surgeon was able to resect nearly all of the tumor leaving just a small nodule behind.  The nodule that was left was adjacent to areas that, if damaged, would have harmed Bennett.

The next couple of weeks will be dedicated to recovery and getting as strong as possible before the next hurdle – high dose chemotherapy.

They still need our prayers and I will let you know when they start the chemo and have to start removing that tape again. In the meantime please keep praying!

Have a blessed day!

  1. My heart goes out to Bennett & family. Prayers for them. Love that your outfits are obtainable. Nothing too far out. Thanks. Love getting your emails.

  2. Hi Cyndi, I recently signed up to receive your emails and I receive them but I still haven’t gotten the 10 Years Younger tip sheet. Do I need to do something else? I love your website. BTW, I have the same sweater!

  3. thanks for the update on Baby B. it is so great to hear something positive in a health challenge. prayers will continue. I have been given some great classic shirts and while I do not know the term for the band that is between the body of the shirt and the collar, they do have that style and I removed the collars from them. having narrow shoulders the collars always seem to create some challenges and the removal of them makes a much neater profile. So, long story short I will be able to create this great look several times over.

  4. So happy to hear the surgery went well, I will continue to pray for Bennett and love the look with the chambray shirt. The sweater is awesome.

    1. Hey Marjorie,
I know lots of women in their 70’s who dress stylish. I think it’s all about dressing classy and adding some trendy pieces.
Thanks so much for stopping by!!
