Good morning! I’m headed out to vote this morning. Anyone else happy that the television and radio ads will be gone! Sheesh, they’ve worn me out!
Anyway, let’s talk reading glasses. I’ll never forget when I first started needing to wear reading glasses. I was telling a friend of mine and she said, “Look at them as a cute accessory!”
From then on I started looking for stylish reading glasses. If we have to wear them, we might as well have some fun, right?
Recently, I was contacted by Readers.com about styling a pair of reading glasses for them. They wanted me to pick out a pair that looked like me and then they would name them after me. How sweet is that!

Beauty For the Heart~~Yesterday I asked for some Q&A on my facebook page. I wanted to do a short video and answer some questions you all have for me.
A couple of you mentioned self worth. How can we be satisfied with how we look, weight etc. I wanted to reach through the screen and hug you!
Most of us struggle with this, especially as we age. But I want to say DON’T LET MAGAZINES AND HOLLYWOOD form your opinions. Don’t let them do it!!!
To be honest, don’t let them form any of your opinions on anything!!! Ugh!

I need bifocals but I like to keep a pair of readers at the computer to reduce neck strain…trying to see the computer out of the bottom of bifocals is hard. I usually buy them at Walmart, not really caring what they look like, but these prices are comparable, you can get full frame and a much better selection!

I truly appreciate your message about the media and our self worth: “don’t let them form any of your opinions on anything!!!” It’s a truth I try to communicate to clients of all ages, and one I work to embrace myself. Beauty doesn’t have a fixed size or shape or skin tone or age.
