Wayne and I are headed home this morning. He had some meetings he had to attend so I went along and we stayed an extra night and did some Christmas shopping.

We had so much fun that we’ve decided to make it an annual thing. It’s nice to get away and it’s much more fun Christmas shopping together. I did buy one thing for myself, this scarf from Target had my name on it! Especially after my post yesterday.

We ate at Ruth’s Chris for dinner last night and we ordered creme brûlée for dessert. We ordered one and split it, but it was so good I think I could have eaten one by myself.

I also ordered a cup of decaf coffee and they brought french press coffee and it was the best cup of coffee I’ve ever had! I added french press coffee to my Christmas list. I don’t actually have a list but if I did, it would be on there!

This afternoon Courtney and I are taking Colt to a Birthday Party for Jesus at my Aunt’s church. They’re going to have games and of course cake and ice cream. I’m sure I’ll share some pictures on Instagram.
