28 Days of Spring Fashion (Day 2)

Welcome to Day 2 of my 28 Days of Spring Fashion! I’m styling different pieces I purchased at Target this week and I’m loving all the color.

28 days of spring fashion
Today the color is yellow! It’s dreary outside but this sweater looks like sunshine. This is perfect for spring when the temperatures are still cool (it’s going to get a little warmer today but we’re expecting a winter storm tomorrow so let’s think April).

28 Days of Spring Fashion (Day 2)
I purchased these earrings from Stella & Dot and they are perfect for spring. You can wear them like this or the bottom two parts come off and you can wear them as stud earrings. Genius!!

These bracelets are from Loft. They don’t have this exact one but this one is close.

It reminded me of this one from Pinterest Told Me To. Mine is smaller but it’s on sale right now for $12.50.

When spring finally gets here, I’m going to enjoy this outfit!!

Beauty for the Heart~~This month we’re talking GRACE. One of my very favorite bible verses is Isaiah 1:18,

“Come now, let’s settle this,” says the Lord“Though your sins are like scarlet, I will make them as white as snow. Though they are red like crimson, I will make them as white as wool.”

This is GRACE ladies! God can remove sin’s stain from our life as he promised to do for the Israelites. Christ will forgive and remove our most indelible stains.

Have a blessed day!

  1. Cyndi, Looking great as always!!! I love the yellow sweater, the beautiful scarf and those playful Spring earrings… and have an idea that you probably, already thought of, to pair those three items with “white” capri pants or shorts when it gets warm! You probably chose the grey because of it’s still just March… I love this outfit very pretty and very spring-ish as you said!! Keep styling outfits like this, You’re my kind of classy lady to follow in style~you dress just like I do(minus the scarf) LOL love you in the Lord, God Bless YOU !!

  2. I love the yellow sweater and scarf. I didn’t realize Target had such pretty tops. I’m going to start shopping there for some of my casual clothes. I just added the yellow sweater to my wish list. Thank you for doing this spring series. It’s very inspiring.

  3. Love, love, love! Great minds think alike-today was a debut day for a cheery yellow tunic (I rarely wear brights) and charcoal sweater and trousers. It was a multi-compliment ensemble and I compliment yours also!

  4. Hi Cyndi,
You look like spring! The earrings are so sweet.
Random question, however goes along with spring/easter…is it TRUE no more Cadbury eggs??!!!!

  5. I hope the gray ankle pants are in the store, not available online. I love the gray and yellow together. Do you have a shirt on under the sweater? The scarf looks great and the shoes too! Love, love this outfit!! Looks great on you as everything you put on does!!
P.S. I must get to Target! Hopefully on Thurs.

  6. FYI: Target has some selected spring clothing / accessories BOGO 50% off right now. This neon striped scarf is included.

  7. I love the outfit. The colors are simply beautiful. Yellow is one of my favorite colors because it makes me feel happy.

  8. those earrings are so great. actually, I can see them as being interpreted to any season even Christmas. But then some would say I can see Christmas everywhere. might have something to do with its being the birth of our Good News !

  9. The sweater looks lime green to me. Is this like the black or gold dress–it’s either green or yellow! Anyway looks great!

    1. I agree, it’s even listed as green on Target’s site. But it looks more yellow there to me and more green to me here. But I still like it either way.

  10. Love that sweater! I’ve looked at it several times and thought I didnt ” need” it but I’m going to get it today! For gals afraid of the yellow, this sweater comes in several colors. 🙂 You look darling as usual girl!

  11. Cyndi , I love your yellow sweater! I’m drawn to yellow this year, but I’m not sure that color would look good on me. Do you know what season is your skin tone? I hope this makes sense to you. I think that I am a winter but my hair is a light to medium brown( my natural color is darker).I have golden brown eyes and and am light to medium skin. I have more of a blue or pink undertone. Thanks! Have a blessed day, Sherry

    1. I’m not sure if I could wear yellow but perhaps a pretty blue or coral statement necklace, or a scarf will draw the eye and break up the yellow. Just a suggestion

    2. Hey Sherry! With your coloring combination you have currently…that yellow can be a little tricky for you…it might wash you out. I agree with Ellen to add a statement necklace or scarf to balance it out against your skin tone. If your hair was darker, you could pull it off much easier though. 😉

  12. Such a cute outfit, Love the colors! Thank you for giving us such great ideas and inspirational messages! Have a great day 🙂
