28 Days of Spring Fashion (Day 27)

It’s Day 27 of my 28 Days of Spring Fashion. Today it’s pastel pink with white denim.

I’ve seen this look on Pinterest and liked the pastel top with the white jeans (source here).

So when I received this pink papermoon lace blouse in my Stitch Fix box, I couldn’t wait to style it with my white ankle jeans.

I added low wedges to my outfit. Some of you say you can’t wear a high wedge so I thought I’d style a lower heel. I think a little bit of a heel always looks nice.

I have been wanting this dainty cross necklace from Stella & dot for a while and finally decided to purchase it. Now I want the silver one! 🙂

28 Days of Spring Fashion (Day 27)
I wear my denim jacket a lot this time of the year when it’s still a little cool outside.

Beauty for the Heart~~GRACIOUS words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones. Proverbs 16:24

This verse is so true, HOW we say things is important. Praying our words are sweet and healing.

Have a blessed day!

  1. Cute outfit and I always thought a bright colored top went well with white jeans but never thought of a pastel., but it Looks great! I also really like the necklace in the other photo. Wonder where it’s from?

  2. Hi Cyndi! Im going to a work convention. It’s semi casual. What would you wear to something like that? Thanks!

    1. Try a colored pair of pants and a simple top! Add a bright necklace for a pop of color!

Hope the event is a great time!

      Blessings,
      Cyndi

  3. Hi Cyndi,I love your style.i have been inspired by some of your outfits.Im over 50 and plus size, very much young at heart! Any recommendations from you or your readers forPlus Size resources to find similar pcs?….thank you

  4. Love this outfit on you. The colors are great and you look like a breath of fresh air. Thanks for sharing your inspiring fashion ideas.

  5. Hi Cyndi Girl! You look so pretty in your pastel outfit. I think pastels really bring up the color of your skin and hair, you should wear them more often. I don’t have much pastel in my spring/summer wardrobe, oddly enough, I do have some pieces in my winter wardrobe I really like. Last week on one of the warmer days I wore a pair of very light khaki tapered leg ankle pants with a mint and white pin striped shirt, silver jewelry and a pair of tan flats. I got 2 or 3 compliments just in the 2 hour time I was out. I already had the pants and shoes, but the mint striped shirt is new. Maybe I might try a couple more pastel tops. Be so blessed!

  6. I think I like that look better on you. Except for the shoes – the leopard flats added something interesting int the original picture.

  7. Love the outfit Cyndi, looks great on you! I’m leaning towards the pastel tops this year too! My mom thinks pastel colors soften our look as, uh, we mature, lol 🙂 I really like your cross necklace, and your shoes, didn’t you get those from Old Navy? Have a great afternoon!

  8. Great idea!! Will see what I can come up with by shopping in my own closet……….can’t wear denim at work though, even a jacket or vest won’t pass.

    1. Jeanna, There are so many other cute pants and blazers that are not denim you can style for work- check out JC Penney’s – They have some adorable options for a reasonable price!

      Blessings,
      Cyndi

  9. It’s funny that you are wearing white jeans. My mom is 91 and asked me if it was too soon to wear white pants. I assured her that it was really in style. I need it to be warmer, I own white capris but not white jeans. Lol

  10. This is a great outfit on you! I also received the small cross necklace as a gift and love it! As always, thanks for the great inspiration!

  11. Love the outfit! Love the idea of white jeans but I think I am the only one on Earth that cannot find a suitable pair of white jeans that don’t make me look like a giant marshmallow! I am nearly 6ft tall but not the super skinny type! All I find are white jeans that are super clingy and not flattering. Suggestions appreciated…

    1. Rachel, I recently bought a pair of white jeans that I think you might like! I’m 5’11” and wear a size 16. I ordered 16T Liz Claiborne classic fit ankle jeans from J.C. Penney. They are slim-fitting without being clingy. They are 98% cotton and 2% spandex for a comfortable fit. I just wanted to share this with you in hopes it helps! I am wearing mine now and really like the fit.

    2. Rachel, Check out Talbots. I think their jeans fit great and they have a heritage fit that comes to the waist. You will probably have to get tall though. I am 5’7″ and the regular is perfect for me. They are pricey but I get when they have on sale. I agree jeans are hard and when you find a brand you like stick with them. I am tired of the ones that ride down during the day.

  12. Hello again Cyndi! This is so funny, because I have almost the exact same outfit on today at work. White jeans, denim jacket, but my top is more of a light coral (all from Loft). I’m also enjoying my new drusy quartz necklace today that I picked up at a local boutique. Since we’ve had this little basketball rivalry going on, sorry I have to say this, and hope you won’t delete me….GO DUKE BLUE DEVILS! NATIONAL CHAMPS!

  13. I think everyone needs a white pair of jeans and a denim jacket in their Spring wardrobe. So versatile!! I really like how you’ve styled yours, Cyndi! The shoes look great and your leopard flats would too! Love, love, the cross necklace from Stella and Dot!

  14. Hi Cyndi, How are you all fairing in all this rain? 🙂 Flooding over here in Jackson.
I love this combination of color!! Yes, I agree, it is time for our white jeans and pastel blouses!
I was wondering how your “clean eating” is coming along or have you stopped eating this way. I have started for the month of April and am loving the results. I have eaten very clean in the past and for a while ate 100% raw food, but then slid back into other foods and this past winter have gained about 15 pounds. With our Anniversary this month I decided to return to the clean eating, and loved reading about you and your hubby doing this also, and was wondering how it is going?

    1. Stitch Fix has been doing a good job for you lately! They seem to have some fresh styles. Love the blouse, so pretty!

  15. Love this spring outfit on you Cyndi! The pastel, white, and denim looks lovely together. I wanted to say also that I got a very similar pair of shoes online from Old Navy. They are on sale today for about $17! Blessings!

  16. Once again, Cindi, you’ve rocked it! I’m heading to do a few errands this morning. So glad I got your email first. Now I’ve added the pink lace top to my list. I’ll be looking for the same color/style in an option that fits my curvy 14/16 frame. Thank you once again for adding another outfit to my ever expanding “Cindi Style” wardrobe. And as always, love Your Beauty for the Heart.
