It’s Throwback Thursday so I thought I would share a throwback outfit that I’m wearing today. This lace top has been one of my favorite tops this spring. It’s comfortable and I’ve washed it several times and it still looks great!

We are headed out from Hot Springs, Arkansas this morning and I thought I’d wear it today as we’re traveling to Dallas. I’m wearing a pair of Franco Sarto sandals that I purchased from DSW shoes. I’ve been wanting a pair of comfortable heels (not wedges) to wear with jeans. These would even work with palazzo pants. (The lighting wasn’t great this morning!)

I recently purchased these Target Sandals and I wore them all day yesterday and they were comfortable. They are kind of a gladiator style but not over the top.

If you want gladiator sandals, these Rebecca Minkoff sandals are so cute! I love the studs and I’ve seen this style everywhere.

If you can wear a wedge heel, this is a great pair for summer. I’m thinking about ordering them, I’ve had my eye on them for a while.

This “Effel” sandal is similar to the ones I have on in the above picture. I couldn’t find mine online.

Here is another similar leather sandal that would be cute with jeans or even a casual summer dress.

If you are wanting a dressy heel this spring/summer, these are the heels to wear. Every fashion blogger I follow has a pair of these. Which begs the question, “Why don’t I have a pair of these shoes?” 🙂

Beauty For the Heart~~I was looking up Proverbs 4:26 (NIV) which says, “Give careful thought to the paths for your feet and be steadfast in all your ways.”

But when I looked up Proverbs 4:26 in The Message, it included verses 23-27 and they were just too good not to share.

Keep vigilant watch over your heart; that’s where life starts.
Don’t talk out of both sides of your mouth; avoid careless banter, white lies, and gossip.
Keep your eyes straight ahead; ignore all sideshow distractions.
Watch your step, and the road will stretch out smooth before you.
Look neither right nor left; leave evil in the dust.

So much good truth!

  6. Your Beauty for the Heart is just awesome! I bought a cute pair of ballet flats today and I love the thought about being careful where our feet take us. Reminds me of the childhood song we sang, “Oh Be Careful Little Feet Where You Go” (Also little eyes what you see, little mouth what you say and little hands what you do)!

  7. Hi Cyndi! Have a fun trip! If you order the Shady Dolce Vita wedges you might go up a half size. I ordered my usual size and they were too short. They say run narrow and do, but still not narrow enough for me 🙁 You’ve got a lot of cute shoes listed 😉

  8. Great sandal pics! Those are definitely not just for women over 40! I’m 32 and love the choices above – especially the ones you have on in the picture. I am always looking for super comfy, trendy sandals. I don’t mind spending a lot on shoes if they are comfortable because I am on my feet all day as a teacher.
