Fashion Friday-Pineapples

I have always had a thing for pineapples! Last summer, I did a Signature Style post and shared my Traditional/Southern style. Of course I have pineapples in my home, it’s a southern thing.

My Mom always loved pineapples too because she said they meant “welcome” and so she had touches of pineapple throughout her home.

This spring/summer it’s quite trendy to wear them. and I’m loving all the pineapple fashion.

I love this pineapple top and it’s on sale for $9.98 but they only have a size 4 left!

Adding a pineapple necklace is an easy way to incorporate it into your outfit.

Lastly, my daughter and I each picked up this pineapple shirt from Target. It’s budget friendly and perfect for spring.

  1. I have a thing for elephants. I just enjoy a bit of whimsey in my wardrobe. Pineapples just might have to be sought after!

  2. Hello Cyndi,

I’ve been watching your blog for several months now, and really enjoy your daily post. You’ve inspired my wardrobe!! I was curious if you would take a look at the new jogger pants, I would love to see your take on them. I’ve bought a pair myself and really like them, but could use some inspiration on how to style. Thanks much!

  3. A great shirt for the season and love your styling of it.. Well I love watermelon season and can’t wait to cut into my first one… Living at the beach my love is for nautical prints this time of year…

  4. I just cut open a fresh one last night! Yum. I have a beautiful large gold pendant gold from my step-mom I’ll have to pull out. I always forget to wear it. Thanks for the reminder.

  5. Cyndi, Thank you for always sharing uplifting thoughts and scriptures! With all of the negative stuff going on in this world, we need to do our part to be encouragers and spread God’s love. I do not have any pineapples in my wardrobe, but I am going to change that. I like the economical t-shirt from Target. I love shopping at Target & Kohls.

God Bless! Let’s all make it a great weekend!

  6. Lovin’ the pineapples! I’ve always loved them!
Thanks for the message today Cyndi – plan to share with my daughter as she is in need of some extra encouragement right now.

  7. Love your Beauty for the Heart, it was just what I needed to read. Love anything pineapple! My daughters bought me the Alex & Anni charm last year. About 2 months ago I purchased the ceramic pineapple candle holder from the Bath & Body Works store, but haven’t seen it online. It’s nice & large & makes a beautiful summer centerpiece. I love the Target pineapple T, I’ll be shopping for it this weekend! Thank You Cindi, for all the great ideas!

  8. I love that Target tee, and I love that it’s affordable! That’s so awesome that you and your daughter both got it, too. I only have a son so obviously we can’t share fashion stuff, but he does love to play with my collection of accessories… on his Ninja Turtles, of course!
Hope you have the most wonderful weekend!

  9. Pineapples in the South for sure : ) I have a small collection on the mantle. I know it is a sign of welcome, but also read a hostess can bring the pineapple out to suggest the end of an evening. We have a fun back and forth with my youngest sister and brother-in-law about putting the pineapple on the mantle to signify it’s time for one or the other to leave! It’s a loving joke between us and gets a LOT of laughs… I saw the target shirt on an earlier post and now a proud owner! Can’t wait to show it off when I see my sister ; ) Love your blog Cyndi and your faithfulness to share God’s love !

  10. I have two matching lamps with pineapple finials, but I don’t have any in my wardrobe. ( I sure do love eating it, though!!) The tee shirt from Target is super cute! I love the heart detail:)
    Have a great weekend!!

  11. YES! How cool to see pineapples in fashion. Your mom was right: the pineapple was the colonial symbol of hospitality. So they do say “Welcome!”

Hope you have a wonderful weekend, sweet friend!

  12. I have a pretty gold pineapple charm my husband bought for me years ago when we were in Hawaii. I wear it in a long gold chain. I recently added a heart with a pearl and a diamond (faux) pendant solitaire all things I have had but grouped together look modern and have nice memories to them. I copied this idea from my 27 year old who was wearing the pineapple we brought back for her along with a couple of other things like a ring and another charm.
