Color Bar by Kendra Scott

If you’re like me, you love adding jewelry to an outfit. It’s so much fun and can really make the outfit pop!

I have bought a lot of jewelry over the years and some of it has been quality jewelry and some of it, well…some of it turned green after wearing it one time. Ugh!

These days, I try to purchase jewelry that is going to last. I would rather have one piece that’s nice over 10 pieces that I’m going to throw away in a month or two. Did you see the Kendra Scott earrings I wore yesterday?

It’s not going to come as a surprise that I have fallen in love with Kendra Scott jewelry. It’s been popular for quite a while but as always I’m late to the party.

Most of you probably know about the Color Bar by Kendra Scott but just in case someone doesn’t, I thought I would share it with you.

I’m not one to hang out at bars very much, okay, never. But if someone calls me and asks what I’m doing and I say I’m hanging out at the bar, you’ll know I’m talking about the Color Bar. 🙂 Umm, I could be at this bar for hours!

Here’s how it works!

1. Pick out the jewelry you want to customize: earrings, necklace or a bracelet.

2. Next, select the metal tone: gold or silver!

3. Start customizing your jewelry! This gets fun!

I love adding jewelry to an outfit. I recently purchased this Kendra Scott necklace. I wear a lot of blue so I knew I could wear this coral necklace with several outfits.

This Color Bar can save you hours of looking! You could customize a piece that would be perfect for your outfit.

  1. I’m not sure Kendra Scitt is in a lot of states yet but I discovered it in Dallas and we now have a store in OKC!. Their jewelry is good quality and I love the color bar for options other than what the store displays. I have several of the necklaces that Cyndi is showing today with her blue. They came out with a new one called the Rae which is the same stone shape but without the tassel. So many pretty things and that birthday discount is wonderful!

  2. I’ve never heard of any of this which is why I read blogs like these. My mom will love this… right up her alley. I’m checking now for a gift card for mom’s day. So excited 🙂 🙂 🙂

  3. I’ve not bought anything from the Color Bar but every time I comment on my friend’s jewelry, it’s from the Color Bar. She takes pics of printed clothing with her and designs pieces that compliment them perfectly as opposed to just picking one for color a necklace. It’s an added pop.

  4. My son-in law is a respiratory therapist and he was at a cystic fibrosis convention when he came across a table selling Kendra Scott jewelry. He bought me a necklace and my daughter was wondering why he didn’t buy her something… Lol (Christmas gift)
I had not heard of Kendra Scott either, but like mine a lot. On the other hand, I have not heard of “The color bar” I will be checking this out!

  5. I think I mentioned before about the “obsession” my daughter, daughter-in-law, and I have with Kendra Scott. LOVE the Color Bar! My favorite pieces are the bracelets my son has put together for me. One in particular is in gold with green stones of various shades. Since he played football for Baylor, I have a lot of green and gold clothes. (Yes, he’s good with the gifting. He spoils all 3 of us.)

Sign up for Kendra emails and get deals every Wednesday, plus 1/2 off one item during your birthday month!

  6. I’ve heard of the KS color bar, but haven’t tried it. I haven’t bit the bullet yet on a Kendra Scott necklace either, but I do see and admire them often online. And I do like your KS coral necklace. Just not sure if these KS designs are lasting pieces or too trendy? I usually I try to spend less $ on trendy pieces, and more $ on the classics. Although I did recently “splurge” on a drusy quartz pendant. :O (BTW Brighton.com also has the option for this type of customizable jewelry. There are some very pretty pieces.) 7. Cyndi (and others)
I too, have never heard of the “color bar” nor Kendra Scott! Living in rural Nebraska maybe is the reason (hehe). I am going to check it out – thank you for sharing it with us 🙂

  8. ok so I’m probably the only one who hasn’t heard of the color bar…talk about being late to the party!! 😉 yikes!! I’ll have to check it out!

        1. I’m late to that party too! I had never even heard of KS until Cyndi posted her pieces…need to check that out!
