Sunday Encouragement-Mother’s Day

Happy Mother’s Day ladies. Today is the day we celebrate Moms!

I was so blessed to have a wonderful Mom and while it’s easy to be sad because I don’t have her with me, today I’m choosing to celebrate her life and the legacy she left behind.

I’m praying for each of you that have lost your Mom. May you feel God’s peace that passes all understanding today.

I also wanted to encourage you to hold tight to your faith. As Mom’s we have influence in our family’s life.

Fight the good fight
Don’t waver, don’t stop believing. In a world that is trying more than ever to tell us there is no truth, Jesus is the TRUTH!

I had shared a few weeks ago how much I loved Ellie Holcomb’s music. This is another one of my favorite songs from her.

God is faithful and this song is a reminder that He can turn your weeping into dancing, He can remove your sadness and cover you in joy.

Have a blessed Mother’s Day!

  1. Thank you Cyndi for this blog site – reading it today touched my heart. I listened to the music of Ellie Holcomb and it was just what I needed to hear this morning. I’m so thankful to be able to hear the words of your heart and other Christian ladies. Have a delightful day.

  2. hey Cyndi. I’m sorry I didn’t read this until this morning. I am confident the Lord equipped you yesterday and helped you share what He put on your heart. God bless you for being the willing vessel that you are. I hope you enjoyed your mothers day! xo, Lisa

  3. happy mothers day, it is such a blessing to have been reared by godly mothers and to know they are with our Savior. I have so many cousins who are also missing being with their mothers BUT we know where they are along with their parents. So, looking at the silver lining of this day and knowing how many have not been so blessed. Prayers for more to know Him..

  4. Happy Mother’s Day, Cyndi. I didn’t get to read your post until late today, but I am certain that you did an amazing job this morning. You are an inspiration to us all. God Bless You.

  5. God never wastes our pain and so I’m sure you were an inspiration and blessing to many hurting Mom’s today. I have my 92 year old Mama with me this weekend and have savored the past few days with her here! I have been and am blessed by her godly example. Today in my home we celebrate as 4 generations together…..My Mom, myself, my daughter and my two Granddaughters. Praying for peace and joy in your heart today Cyndi as you reflect upon your Mom’s life. Love you!

  6. Thank you, this is my first Mother’s Day without my mother. Was hard but I know she is looking down and loving me!

    1. Hi Cyndi and Happy Mother’s Day!
Just recently found your Blog, website, pinterest, and facebook site’s and I love them all. You are a bright ray of sunshine in spirit and fashion and I so appreciate the Lord leading me to your sight. Your mother left a beautiful legacy of love in her children and that is very evident in your walk. I pray my children will rise and call me “blessed” as I am sure yours does.
Cyndi, I was wondering if you use any fashion apps to organize your wardrobe/closet? I have been thinking about trying one but am “technologically shy” and would like on that is very easy to use. Would you happen to have any suggestions?
Blessings to you on this special day Cyndi,
      Candy

I’m praying for you and all the mothers in the world today! Happy Happy Mothers Day!

  13. Heavenly Father, I come to you now, on this Mothers Day, with a special prayer request for Cyndi Spivey. Father please be with Cyndi and guide every word that comes out of her mouth, as she speaks about the legacy of her mom, at her church this morning. Help her to keep her composure so that she can clearly share the message that you want her to share. I know that her mom will be her special angel this morning and that she will be smiling upon Cyndi. Thank you Jesus for always being there for us and for your unconditional love. In your precious and Holy name I pray, Amen!

      1. That is awesome Cyndi. You are certainly welcome. Thanks!

I hope you have a blessed week!
        Ginger
