I usually wear a short necklace, dangling necklaces get caught on my clothes but I like others to wear tassels.
I don’t have a Y necklace but do love the longer length in my jewelry. Love it!

Like the outfit and jewelry. I am not a fan of the partial tuck. It reminds me of being in a hurry and not finishing tucking my shirt in after using the bathroom. I know a lot of people are showing that look but some things just make me fell like I am trying too hard.

I looked at that same shirt at Loft last week but couldn’t decide if I liked the fabric so I didn’t buy. Love the color though, and the necklaces dress it up too. It’s steamy in Knoxville, TN too and we are melting here – hopefully relief is coming this weekend.

Love the necklace. It is the first time I remember seeing a Y necklace. I tried to sign up for gift card. It did not work. I received verbage about leaving comments, but when I clicked on it nothing would allow me to actually post a message. I was using my email which was an option and what I prefer. Very disappointing.

I started reading your blog about a month ago. I’ve so enjoyed the way you share your faith as well as your tips on fashion! I look forward to your blog each day. As far as the necklaces go, I do not have a Y necklace, but they are really pretty.
I love a front tuck. I wore a blouse with a front tuck to church the other day and a woman came up behind me and said “you need to either tuck that blouse in or pull it out. One way or the other.” LOL. I explained the front tuck. She didn’t get it. SMH We, my husband and I, laughed about it later. When you work at the church, you are just open to folks comments about your attire. I love the tassel necklace as well. Cute outfit too!

I do like the layering technique with necklaces…it adds a little more interest! I also think the front tuck is somewhat better than just leaving the shirt hanging out. Sometimes leaving the shirt totally untucked appears sloppy, whereas the half tuck shows you put some thought into it! jodie

Love the front tuck look, but it’s not flattering on me, so I choose the tops which are shorter in front than back as a compromise. Love everything about your blog and look forward to it daily!

I have never worn the “Y” necklaces yet, but love the way they look. They delicate enough that you can wear them with a t-shirt or light weight top. Will be my go to jewerly for the summer, since I live where it is hot too.

I have just been and bought 2 pair of shorts same length and style as yours, I tried them in the changing room which I hate and had a wedge on at the time and they looked great, well my daughter passed them. I’m 51 now and think everything is achievable if you try.

Great outfit! I work in a classroom where necklaces can be a hazard. Now that school is out, I’ve been eyeing the longer necklaces and thinking about updating my “non work” clothes with a fun accessory.
