Let’s just admit at this stage of the game, our skin care regimen has to be good. We’re well past our 20’s where you can play around with some skin care products, right? Over the last few years I’ve been paying close attention to what goes on my skin. I try to use products that […]
I love to share beauty products with you that I use and really like. Here are 4 Beauty Products You’ll Want To Try! 1. L’Oreal Paris Extra-Intense Eyeliner-This is a liquid pencil eyeliner that glides on smoothly and evenly for beautiful definition in a single stroke. It comes in brown, which is the color I use. It […]
5. Pink or peach blush-This is a look I can go with! Soft pink and peach blushes seem to be the trend. So ditch those brown and dark blushes for a pink or peach.
A pretty blush that is perfect for fall! There are several colors to choose from.
6. The Cat Eye- Look how cute she looks with the cat eye. I’m afraid my line would be uneven because I would be trying to dodge all those pesky find lines!
This is on my list have things to purchase! This eyeliner gel gets great reviews!! I would purchase a brown color, not black.
7. The Smokey Eye- Oh boy I cannot pull this look off! I look like I’ve got dark circles for miles when I try this. But if you can do it, go for it!

ay for Friday! It’s Day 4 of 31 Days of Fall Fashion & Beauty Tips and I’m sharing 8 Fall 2013 Makeup Trends with you.
Before we get started please watch this quick 16 second commercial. Have you seen it? Every time I watch it I laugh out loud!!
Okay, with that said here are 8 Fall 2013 makeup trends and some of my tips sprinkled in too.
1. Brows, brows, brows! In case you haven’t heard me say this before, thicker brows are in. So don’t over pluck! Fill them in so that they look natural, no lines! (A fuller brow gives you a more youthful appearance.)
I use Brun eyeshadow my Mac to fill in my brows.
2. The no makeup, makeup look. This look is all about finding the right base. Then add minimal color for a flawless look!
3. Lashes! Long lashes are “in”! Hmmm, so how can we be on trend if we don’t have long lashes?
Two things: 1. Use a good mascara and 2. Add false eyelashes.
I love wearing false eyelashes. I don’t wear them everyday but when I do, I think my eyes stand out. This picture was taken this year on my birthday and I was wearing false eyelashes. They’re not over the top but just give my eyes a little boost. (I’m planning to do a tutorial on applying false eyelashes.)

Welcome to Day 3 of Fall Fashion & Beauty Tips! Today we’re going to talk nail color trends. A pretty manicure is always in style and just because sandal weather is leaving us doesn’t mean we don’t want our toes to look nice.
Taegan Tanner from Elle magazine says, Nail art may be dying down, but the right color is everything this season. I have to admit I won’t be sad to see nail art dye down. I’m not a big fan.
Dark polish can accentuate your aging hands. Dark polish shortens your fingers but a light color elongates them. If you want longer, younger looking hands go neutral. Here are some beautiful nail polish colors if you want to go neutral.
I like to save the fun colors for my toes. If you’re over 40, it’s best to avoid excessive glitter and nail art. (This makes you look like you’re trying too hard to look young!) Agree or disagree?
Here are some fun colors for fall 2013 to try!
What do you think about this year’s nail color trends? Do you wear dark nail polish or neutral colors?
On a side note ModCloth asked if I would participate in their Uniquely You campaign by creating a lovely look with this mint green dress. I had to use items from their website to style the dress. They will be picking a winner from the bloggers who participated.

Happy Wednesday! Usually I share photos of What I Wore but I realized yesterday, I had not taken one picture. I’m totally fine with not having my picture splashed all over the page today!
But, I did want to tell you about a product I’ve recently tried. I know most of you are like me, you see those fine lines and wrinkles sneaking up and I’m always looking for a good product to help with my mature skin.
One of the things I have heard is we need to use alpha hydroxy acid. Alpha hydroxy acid reduces wrinkles and the signs of aging, and improves the overall look and feel of the skin. ( Dr. Oz says this is a must for mature skin if any of you are Dr. Oz fans.)
I’ve recently tried Peter Thomas Roth hydrating gel. It’s ideal for normal to dry, mature, sun-damaged, combination, oily and problem skin types.
Here is what the company claims about this product:

Hey friends! Well, I’m a little frustrated! I’m trying to do more videos but it’s sooooo hard. I watch a lot of videos and I’m not satisfied with mine yet.
The only way I know to get better is to keep doing them. So I know I’m going to look back on this and think, “that’s horrible!” Actually I already do—-bad sign.
Anyway, some of you emailed me and asked if I would show you how I use the Urban Decay Naked Basics palette. So this is my feeble attempt.
Because I have deep set eyes, it’s a How to apply eye shadow to deep set eyes video. Thanks for being patient with me!

Good morning! Today I’m sharing some of my favorite products I’ve been using this summer. It’s my July/August favorite products video.
I made a mistake in my video so I’ll clear it up now. It’s not Avines Love Shampoo and Conditioner it’s Davines.
I also mention Cara in my video and her blog is called maskCara and can be found here. She talks a lot about eyebrows! She’s a professional and does amazing makeovers.
If you are wanting a good tutorial on eyebrows you can go here. She tells the color of shadow to use if you’re a blonde, redhead, or brunette.
Okay, here’s my video and I’ll list all the products that I talk about!
