Stitch Fix Questions Answered!

Stitch Fix Questions Answered

Good morning! I get lots of emails about Stitch Fix. So today I thought I’d try to answer some of your questions. I posted about it here too.

Stitch Fix is a personal styling service. A group of stylists put together 5 stylish pieces of clothing (sometimes jewelry and/or accessories items are included) and ship them directly to you!  It’s a great way to add to your current wardrobe and get a hold of pieces that you might otherwise not have access to. No two Fixes are alike. Each one is hand–picked just for you.

Everyone has to fill out a detailed style profile with questions about your size, how you like your clothes to fit, and areas you want them to focus on.

But one of the questions I get the most, is the pricing. So I took a screen shot of the pricing. You pick between these 5 prices: The cheaper the better, $50-$100, $100-$150, $150-$200, and $200+

I can’t speak for everyone’s fix but generally the prices for each item in my box have ranged from $30 to $120.

They also ask you what you think of styles from these pictures: Do you love it, like most, like some, or don’t like much at all.

Some of you asked to see my profiles and this is it: I love this!

I like some of these pieces.

I don’t like this much at all. This is way to casual for me.

I don’t like this one either. There are pieces of it that are okay but at first glance it’s not me.

I like most of these (just not the boyfriend jeans). It’s a fun, casual look.

I like most of this look. It’s classic and I like it!

Last but not least, this is the place you check out! This is a screen shot of three of my five items. The price you see is the total of each piece. If I wanted the $32 necklace and that was it, I would pay $12 because they would take the $20 styling fee I paid up front out of that total. $12 would be my final price. Tax and shipping are included in the prices and styling fee. Does that make sense?

Also, you only get a fix when you want it. They have a calendar with the dates available and you pick what works for you. It doesn’t have to be every month.

Whew! I hope this helps, it could be more information than you wanted!

Are there any other questions that you want answered?

My Latest Stitch Fix!

Stitch Fix

I love seeing a Stitch Fix box sitting on my doorstep, it makes me smile! It’s always fun to see what they’ve picked out for me to wear.

I like details, and these clothes were folded and the belt for my dress was tied around them. So cute!

Here are the items in my box. FYI, I’m trying them on quickly and they’re not styled with the right accessories or shoes.

This is Olive & Oak Nathalie Printed Detail Dress (I wouldn’t wear it with this white tank). This dress is so comfortable but I think it might be a little too short.

Next they sent this Kinlie Floral Aplique Cardigan by Darling. Flower Apliques are very stylish right now so I will probably keep this. It would be great to wear on a cooler night.

This dress from Evolution by Cyprus. I loved this dress! Perfect length, and super comfortable. It’s a little big on top so I might have to put a dart on both sides, under my arms. But I’d really like to keep this!

These are Betty Carre, gold cutout circle earrings. They’re cute so I might keep them.

This top is cute but it was a little tight on me. It’s a Lilla P, gavin v-neck ruched waist top. I love the color!

Well, that’s what I got in my box this time. I love all the variety and they’re things I probably would not pick out myself.

Which one do you like the best? What do you think I should keep?

What I Wore-My Style

Happy Wednesday! Today is What I Wore day and I’m wearing some of my items from my latest Stitch Fix. I also snapped a few pictures of my daughter, Courtney.

Before I share my outfits, I wanted to answer a question I get all the time, “Where did you get that artwork in your picture.”  The artwork is from a sweet friend, Dee. She has amazing artwork at Red Letter Words. You can check out all of it here.

Now, here’s some What I Wore. This is the sleeveless top I shared with you yesterday. It’s so comfortable!

Jeans-TJ Maxx, Calvin Klein
Gold tip shoes-I ordered from Zappos

I wore this dress from Stitch Fix to church Sunday. It has a belt but I didn’t like it on me. It was a little chilly Sunday morning so I added my black blazer.

Shoes-I don’t remember

Courtney had a cute outfit on so I asked her if I could snap some pictures with my iphone. I loved all the color and the way the sleeveless blouse hung longer in the back.

I love all the color I’m seeing this spring in clothes. What’s your favorite color to wear?

Stitch Fix Box #4

Good morning! Today I’m sharing my latest Stitch Fix box with you. I feel like the Stitch Fix team have become my new best friends. They have certainly helped me add some different pieces to my wardrobe.

I love dresses and this box had 2 dresses in it. This first one is a Leroy Dot Print dress. It’s a fun print and I can’t wait to wear it!

Stitch Fix Box #4
This is a Ronda Floral Print Knit Dress. When I first saw this one I was leery if it would work. But after I tried it on, I liked it too!

Stitch Fix Box #4
I shared this Ohara Square Print Zip-up Cardigan with you last week on my What I Wore post. I will get lots of wear out of this cardigan.

Stitch Fix Box #4

They popped this sleeveless printed top in my box and I love it. It’s great for warm days!

Stitch Fix Box #4

Lastly, they added this delicate gold necklace. I usually wear chunky necklaces so I thought this would be a good addition to my jewelry collection.

Stitch Fix Box #4

I’ve shared this before, but I love how they include these plastic cards with each item of clothing. It gives you ideas of how to wear them.

Stitch Fix Box #4
This was the first box that I kept everything (I did have some credit thanks to you all!) and I’ve already wore three of the items. I wore the black & white cardigan last week and I’ll be sharing two more with you tomorrow on my What I Wore post.

It’s so much fun to get a Stitch Fix box! Have you tried Stitch Fix yet?

Beauty For the Heart~~I can’t begin to tell you how sad I am over the news in Boston. These evil acts are almost more than I can bare. I do know this, that as loving as God is, He is also a very just God and those who do these kinds of evil will be punished.

Proverbs 11:21 says, “Be sure of this: The wicked will not go unpunished, but those who are righteous will go free.”

3 Reasons I Love Stitch Fix

Good morning! Today I wanted to share my March Stitch Fix with you and give you 3 reasons why I love it.

First, I’ll show you what was in my March Stitch Fix:

These two items I decided to send back. I loved the tie front dress and really wanted to keep it, but it was just a little too short. The printed tunic did not look good on me at all.

Stich fix collage

These are the items I kept. I love the leaf earrings, and I’ve already worn them a lot. The gold and off white sweater jacket will be perfect for spring. The white collared sleeveless top I also loved and when they said they had named it the “Cyndi”, I felt I had to have it. :-)

March Stitchfix

Now let me share three reasons why I love my Stitch Fix!

1. It comes right to my front door and I get to try all the clothes on in the comfort of my home. I love this!

2. There’s NO pressure to buy anything! You log in to stitch fix, check what you want to keep and what you’re sending back. It’s that easy. They charge you for what you keep and you send back what you don’t keep in a postage paid bag. I drive to the post office and place it in the mailboxes outside. I never have to get out of my car. Easy peasy!

3. I get unique pieces of clothing that no one else has. They’re also quality pieces that I will keep for years!

(One other thing, you only get a fix, when you want one. It doesn’t have to be every month.)

So what do you think? Have you tried Stitch Fix?

**If you click on Stitch Fix from my page, I will get credit if you decide to try it. Thank you so much!

Beauty For the Heart~~If you didn’t see my post yesterday about Ian and Larissa, I would love for you to read it. It’s such a blessing! This week is Holy Week and I want to prepare myself for Easter. Matthew 12:18-21 says,

“Here is my servant. I have chosen him.
He is the one I love. I am very pleased with him.
I will put my Spirit on him.
He will announce to the nations that everything will be made right.
He will not argue or cry out.
No one will hear his voice in the streets.
He will not break a bent twig.
He will not put out a dimly burning flame.
He will make everything right.
The nations will put their hope in him.”

Have a blessed day!
