1. Keep lip balm or lipstick on your lips, especially when you go outside! My lips will dry out quick without something on them in the cold winter air.

2. Don’t lick your lips. Why do we want to lick our lips? I guess to add moisture but licking our lips will chap them quickly, so just say no!
3. Drink lots of water. The most important thing to do is to drink enough water every day. Chapped lips can be a sign of dehydration. Caffeine can aid in dehydration and during the winter months I drink more coffee (caffeine) so it’s importnat to drink a lot of water!
