I wonder if anyone reading my blog has ever felt anxious? I know I have. I’ve had nights where I wake up and feel an overwhelming sense of fear. It’s in those moments I cry out to God.
The good news is that Jesus is always waiting, always listening and He is the one who can calm our fears. He can carry us in those times. The truth is we all need Jesus to carry us.
St. Augustine said, “our souls are restless until they find their rest in You.”
Philippians 4:7 says, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let you requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus”
