Spring Fashion-Target Style

Hey friends! It’s about 9 days until the official start to spring and we’ve had a few mild days. So I thought I’d share some spring fashion-Target style.

Spring Fashion-Target Style

I usually hang my clothes in my closet by color. Shirts on one side, pants on the other and then dresses/skirts in their own area.

This time of the year, I like to do hang a few spring outfits in my closet and then when we have a warm day, I don’t have to scramble through my closet and try to figure out what to wear. They’re right there, ready to go.

Here’s one of the outfits I have ready to wear.

Have you started getting out some spring clothes? Try putting some outfits together so you’re ready when those warmer days come.

What I Wore-Animal Print

Happy Hump Day! I only have one What I Wore outfit and of course its animal print. I’m thinking I may have to go to an animal print anonymous group for people who wear too much animal print. :-)

I love Francescas boutique and they recently had a sale on their necklaces, buy one and get one half off. They have cute accessories and they have some really cute brown boots.

These are Steve Madden boots and I like them a lot!

I’m heading to the Bloggy Conference tomorrow morning so I’m trying to figure out what I’m going to wear and I’m finalizing my talk I’ll be giving on Friday night. I’m praying God will speak through me as I share about the Legacy we Leave.

Thanks so much for stopping by! You all always bless my day!

Fall Fashion For The Between Season

Good morning! Fall was in the air this weekend and of course I started pulling out some fall clothes. The between season is always hard. It’s too hot for sweaters but I’m tired of tank tops. Target’s Cowl Neck Top is the perfect fall fashion for the between season.

The Merona Cowl Neck Top comes in a variety of colors and sizes. I love the length of the sleeve.

The price is also perfect, $10 in the store, $9 online. I purchased a Black and Flame Orange top.

I paired my black cowl neck with Mossimo Ankle Stretch Pant in Toffee from Target also. They have lots of colors and sizes from 2-18 and are also perfect for the between season.

Leopard print flats-Kohl’s last year.

Do you have a hard time figuring out what to wear this time of the year?

**I didn’t get any compensation for this post, I just like the tops!

Beauty For the Heart~~As I was doing this post, Matthew 6:25-30 popped in my head,

That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn’t life more than food, and your body more than clothing? Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are?

Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? And why worry about your clothing? Look at the lilies of the field and how they grow. They don’t work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are. And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith?

Jesus is always reminding me to keep things in perspective. He will always take care of us!

Have a blessed day!

What I Wore~Black and White

Happy Wednesday friends! When I started taking pictures for What I Wore, I realized I was wearing too much black and white. I’ve been trying to add more color but this week was a failure. I went back to wearing a lot of  black and white!

So guess what I’ll be trying to incorporate into my wardrobe this week? Color!

Beauty For the Heart~~“Demonstrate your trust in me by sitting quietly in My Presence. Put aside all that is waiting to be done, and refuse to worry about anything. This sacred time together strengthens you and prepares you to face whatever the day will bring”– taken from Jesus Calling by Sarah Young

Take time today to read God’s word and pray trusting that He will strengthen you and direct your paths.

Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track. Proverbs 3:5-6 (The Message)

Beauty For the Heart~~I have to tell you, I love this little guy. I could kiss those cheeks all day!

I love watching him play. We sing together, we patty-cake, we laugh together and I enjoy every second of it.

And that reminds me of how much God loves us. He loves spending time with us. He loves every second of it. We’re the apple of His eye.

Ephesians 3:18-19 is a great reminder of how much God loves us,

Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.

Let’s spend time with our Heavenly Father today!

My “Look-Alike” Michael Kors Watch

Good morning!

I can’t believe that this is the last week of June! Where did this month go?

I hope you had a great weekend and you’re ready to start a new week. I have to say, we were really busy, so I’m starting today a little sluggish. But hopefully it’s nothing a couple of cups of coffee can’t fix!

I’ve been seeing this Michael Kors watch everywhere and I have to say, I love it.

Last Friday, I posted a picture on my Favorite “pins” Friday of a Michael Kors watch. Of course, I checked the price ($250)and it’s more than what I want to pay for a watch.

So, you can imagine my excitement when I found a look-alike watch at Target for $14.99!! I didn’t get a great picture because I was taking it myself, but here’s the look alike.

I love it and I’m much more comfortable with the price. Here’s a picture of the watch from Target’s website.

So what do you think? Do you like the look-alike watch from Target?

I’m also excited because I got my new Canon camera this weekend. I’m trying to learn to take my pictures in manual mode so guess who I practiced on. He’s getting to be such a big boy!!

Have a blessed day!
