Beauty For the Heart~~Last night Wayne and I went out to dinner. We talked about our life, ministry, and some doors we see God opening for us.

On our way home, we saw a beautiful rainbow in the sky. I felt like God was saying “I see and I hear you and I always keep my promises”.

Remember every time you witness a rainbow, know that God will keep His promises to you. He is faithful to keep all His promises.

“And God said, ‘This is the sign of the covenant I am making between me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all generations to come: I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth’” (Genesis 9:12-13).

Have a blessed day!

  1. Well…I learned something today – as many times as I have read Genesis that verse about rainbows has never resonated with me. WoW! thinking back at the times I’ve seen rainbows has given me chills this morning. Thank you Cyndi!!!
And I love the navy blouse too – Happy Friday 🙂

  2. I am so encouraged to hear of your renewed sense of calling and direction for you and your hubby. We just concluded 26 years of ministry in a church plant and God is leading in a new direction. It is exciting and requiring faith and trust in a new way for us. Praying for you and Wayne this morning, that God would continue to show you his plan for you and how He wants to use you for His honor and glory.

    1. Also, so excited to read about Traci and her family. Loved the t-shirts, one of my favorite verses, so I bought 2, so I can give one so someone who needs to live that verse, too.

  3. Hi Cyndi…. hee hee I see you like blue and white too, and sheer. I love it together, of course you can’t go wrong with any color paired with white! You’re looking beautiful as ever today!!!!

  4. Super cute blouse—I almost didn’t notice the bow tie, but I love it!!

ps…since I love giving out advice (ha ha)—I want to say to remember, it’s really not important to get all the boxes unpacked right away—it’s so stressful, that you need some “you” time too!! Good luck!!

  5. My pastor husband retired last May from a church we had pastored for 16 years. So hard to leave but attending a larger church now and enjoying some “down time”. He is a supply minister at the time for churches without pastors or for those on vacations, etc. Praying God will show us where we need to be in these retirement years.

  6. I’m going to join your Work Wear Challenge today ~ I’m excited about participating. I’m just a little nervous and here’s why. I LOVE your daily outfit posts with links. And I REALLY LOVE your seasonal “days of summer fashion”. I HOPE HOPE HOPE that you don’t completely move away from those EVER!! 🙂 I tried a different website’s style challenges and they soon became VERY pricey to the point of feeling like it was not being a good steward of my God-given funds to continue to participate. I’m looking forward to participating this time though~ Cyndi, you have a unique ministry with your blog and I hope that never changes <3 Big Love from the Chicago area!!!

    1. Susie I’m not changing my blog. I’m adding the style challenge for those who want it but if it’s not what my readers want then i will not do it.
It is a huge amount of work and I have to be available to those who sign up. I’m excited that you’re doing it and I will appreciate your input.
      Blessings,
      cyndi

  7. Cyndi I love this top- this whole outfit really! It’s so pretty. I love simple outfits like this– especially a stand alone top that has enough pretty details that you don’t need to add much except a couple of bracelets. Just my style.

    Love Love Love!

PS I met my friend’s Aunt Diane, who lives in Minnesota, (I’m in CA), who has been following your blog for years. It was like meeting a kindred spirit. We had fun connecting over Grace +Beauty. 🙂

  8. Nice outfit. Pray for us in Texas we need some rainbows. We have a lot of rain lately. Good passage.bless you.

  9. Love this outfit – you always keep it classy and that is yet another thing I love about your style. THANK YOU for the spiritual words today – my husband and I had a similar conversation last night. We are open to wherever God is leading us and know he will give us the signs when the time is right – in his time.

  10. Hi Cindi,
Your look is so beautiful and so ladylike and respectful and so stylish. I love it! I am a fit 63 year old petite size and your clothes are exactly the look that I like to wear. It seems that the store where you buy your clothes is not online anymore. Do you have any other places that you shop that you recommend?
