26 Days of Summer Fashion (Day 23)

It’s Day 23 of my 26 Days of Summer Fashion and I’m sharing about my trip to Glamour Farms Boutique. I shared with you all last week, that I was heading to Illinois to visit Glamour Farms.

It was such a fun and quick trip! My husband came with me and we met the lovely ladies and their husbands on Friday evening for dinner at Firefly Grill. Oh my, the food was delicious!

Glamour Farms Boutique is a family business and they all love what they do. We snapped a quick picture after dark, so the quality is not great. Sorry!

It’s a Mom and her 2 daughters who run this business. From left to right: Stephanie, Me (duh), Pam (the Mom), and Elizabeth.

On Saturday, I spent the day at the boutique. They opened the doors at 9 and from the time they opened until they closed at 2, it was crazy busy.

I met lots of sweet women and we had a great day. Here are a few pictures I took around the boutique. This is where they take a lot of their pictures.

We are hoping to do some fun things together but if you haven’t visited their website, you should! Use the code, spivey10 and get $10 off  your entire order.

You are welcome to call and talk to them on the phone if you have any questions, and definitely tell them Cyndi sent you!

I snapped some pictures of the dress I wore to Glamour Farms. I took these after I got home so if I look tired, I am!

The brand of this dress is Uncle Franks and it’s a super comfortable dress and it doesn’t wrinkle. It still looked good after the 4 1/2 drive home. The dress faired better than I did!

I’m speaking at the Haven Conference in July with my friend Mandy Rose and I thought I would wear this dress.

Beauty For the Heart~~If the times are indeed as bad as we say they are… if the darkness in our world is growing heavier by the moment… if we are facing spiritual battles right in our own homes and churches… then we are foolish not to turn to the One who supplies unlimited grace and power. He is our only source. We are crazy to ignore him. -Jim Cymbala

Have a blessed day!

  1. I have been shopping at Glamour Farms since I first saw you mention it in your blog. I have to order online because I live in Ohio but I would definitely like to go to their boutique someday. I got my friend shopping there too! Wish we could have come on Saturday! This dress looks so cute on you!

  2. Hi Cyndi,
I love all the pictures of that quaint little Boutique shop! You were in a pretty dress should have sat in the chair for a pic with the ladies…
This dress reminds me of the 60’s … Cool !! lol

  3. Hi Cyndi,

LOVE the dress….looks so cute on you! Did you find out your nail acrylic color on Friday? I have an appointment this week so excited to find out!

Have a wonderful day and get some rest!

    1. Yes I got it!! This is what she wrote down for me:
The tip of the nails are Creative Perfect Color soft white powder. The other acrylic powder is a mixture she makes, again using Creative Perfect Powders 2 parts of blush powder mixed with 1 part soft white.
      I hope that helps!!

      1. Thank you! Does she do a fill on the tips too? It’s hard to tell in your pics. Sounds like it’s a french manicure but very subtle.

Also I don’t see the dress on the website you have linked. I don’t see any dresses like that on that website in that style at all.

  4. LOvE the colors in this dress – super cute! Glad you had a safe and fun trip! Especially like your beauty for the heart today – that is spot on.

  5. cyndi
you look super cute in that dress !!! love the quote. If you ever find yourself in NYC on sunday afternoon you should stop pastor Jim’s church Brooklyn Tab is as close to heaven as i have ever been here on earth. looks like you had a good time saturday glad your travel was safe

  6. This is the cutest dress and looks fabulous on you! Quick question…I’m currently changing my email address and wanted to know how I should change it to continue receiving your blog posts. Should I just unsubscribe the old one and start over with the new one? Thanks!

    1. Hi Jill –

It’s super easy to stay updated and on my email list – at the top of the homepage on my website there is a little link that says “subscribe to my emails” – just enter your new email address there and you will be all set!

  7. Love this on you Cyndi! So glad you had such a great time and what a cute place. Thanks for sharing all the pictures with us. ????

  8. Stunning dress on you! But for me, I can’t wear the shorter styles….
Aside from that, I didn’t get my email from you on the 29th, so I went directly to your website to view it. Then this morning at 6:27 am, it arrived! Hopefully I’ll get your Day 24 today!

  9. Cant say that I like the hippie revival from the 1960’s. Looks like something worn at Woodstock. But if anyone can pull it off, it’s you!

  10. Very cute. Glad to know about them. Good prices. Do you still use the Wolf eye cream Cyndi? Can’t remember the full name. 🙂

  11. This dress is too darn cute, and looks great one you! Thanks for sharing your trip with us. Glamour Farms have the cutest clothes! I must place my order.

  12. I just love this! Beautiful colors and it looks fantastic! Glad you had so much fun with the Glamour Farms team! Thx for sharing 🙂

  13. Glamour Farms looks like an awesome boutique. Thanks for sharing it with us! I love the dress you have on. The necklace looks awesome. Have a blessed day!

  14. Just picked up these shoes…love them…they seem like they will be very comfortable. For anyone interested, they are on sale at Macy’s website. They are also available at Zappos ????

  15. I have looked and looked for that dress, but for the life of me, I can’t find it. Can you provide a direct link, please? Thanks!

  16. cute dress and if I should look so “tired” after such a long day and long drive !!!

is anyone else battling a video with cellphone information ad ?? this is the only site but am not sure if it is mine or yours being hacked.

  17. I love the dress on you, but it isn’t something I would be comfortable wearing – too much going on for me – I might like a top or tank with the retro look for a pop of color and textures, maybe with a jacket or sweater over. I think you look adorable in it, and it suits your cuteness!!!

  18. Hello Cindy
I really like this dress and some of the other dresses I have seen you wear. My question is are these dresses that only have a few in stock because when I go to the links provided I can never find the exact dresses you are wearing?
Hope you have a blessed day,

    1. Hi Catherine!
A few of the dresses I have worn are from The Cotton Patch in Lexington, Ky. Unfortunately, they don’t always have them on their website and yes they usually only have a few in stock.
I may talk to them and ask if I buy something if they would put it on their website??

  19. Do not understand why all these dress are still being advertised when they are not even available anymore My time is wasted trying to find even one That is available Take them down
