27 Days of Spring Fashion: Work Wear Pant

Welcome back to my 27 Days of Spring Fashion, it’s Day 18! It’s officially spring and I am ready for it, bring on the warmer weather.

Jo-Lynne and I are so excited to have another blogger join us today, Shannon From Gamin & Stripes. She’s adorable!

This time of year the temperatures fluctuate so I like to wear light weight sweaters. This mixed media top from Loft is perfect for this time of year. (Loft has a 30% off sale going on today!) I’m wearing an Ahhmazing cami in white under this top.

27 Days of Spring Fashion: Work Wear PantI’m wearing a chino pant from Loft that would make a great work wear pant. These are a soft, comfortable pant. They come in petite and tall and the size ranges from size 00 to size 18.

27 Days of Spring Fashion: Work Wear PantI wore this casual outfit to church with my leopard flats. For some reason, I wasn’t in the mood for heels.

27 Days of Spring Fashion: Work Wear Pant 27 Days of Spring Fashion: Work Wear PantI did take some pictures with a pair of heels. These are from Glamour Farms. (Use discount code Spivey760 for $10 off any purchases from Glamour Farms.)

27 Days of Spring Fashion: Work Wear PantI’m wearing my watch and a tassel bracelet from Baublebar. I’m also wearing a pearl bracelet from Glamour Farms. They don’t have it on their site yet but I will let you know when they do, it’s one of my favorite bracelets!

  1. While this is a cute outfit, it is much too casual to wear to work in an office setting. I do enjoy your style however!

  2. Love your work wear outfits!!! I just bought the chinos in the same color last week. Now, I’m anxious to try some of your styling suggestions!!! You are an inspiration!!!!

  3. Hi Cyndi,
Another beautiful outfit on a beautiful lady!! And another great Beauty for the Heart! 🙂

  4. Good morning !! I did get the pink stripe tops from Gap, I got a small although I do the no it is too small, but they didn’t have a medium AND yesterday they had a surprise % off they were handing out in the store! The top was already on sale for $9.99 and I got an extra 50% off!!! I also got the pink sweater you styled from Loft and some pretty no Converse from DSW for $25!!! I was a happy camper yesterday as I got some great deals!!! 😃💗

    Have a blessed day!!

  5. As Faith said above, you are an inspiration! You have brought me out of my black, grey color scheme☺️

  6. if the Gap top becomes available in the larger sizes please repost. I was unable to purchase it. But it’s so cute.

  7. You are lovely in everything you wear! Many times you’ve styled items from Loft that I’d previously passed on because the items just aren’t flattering on the stick figure models, but once I see you wearing – well the items just look better on you, so sale made! Would you mind sharing what sizes you purchased in the Loft items? On the Loft model the top looks huge but is very flattering on you. You are a true beauty!

  8. Oh my goodness, I’m in love with all your looks today! The pants from the Loft are super cute, and I love how you’ve styled them. Looks great with heels or flats.

I totally need the cute, pink striped shirt from the Gap. I just purchased the Tropicana necklace from Stella and Dot. I think it would look great with this shirt!

  9. Love all the Loft picks lately! I have those pants in seaform and they are really comfortable. I’ll have to check out that top next time I’m in the store. I think you do such a great job mixing and matching and showing us reasonably priced fun clothing.

  10. Love the pop of color with the leopard shoes. I find myself wearing those shoes a lot! Thanks for letting me co-post with you! What a joy and privilege!

  11. I agree this is an adorable outfit but probably too casual in most dressy workplaces. Perfect for a school where I work though!
I’ve been looking around for full length pants and except for dress pants have found them virtually impossible to find. I guess it’s just what’s in style this year. I find it so funny how depending on what’s in style seems to dictate what fashion finds flattering. A couple of years ago I read everywhere that cropped and ankle pants were so unflattering and shortened your leg line – now they’re back.

    1. Gina, I remember the same thing about pants..particularly when ‘What Not To Wear’ was a popular TV show. They regularly said how cropped and skinny jeans were unflattering to nearly all body types.
Now it seems ankle and skinny jeans seems to flatter most figures, go figure!

  12. I love all of the looks that you have ever posted ~ and since you do such an excellent job with each choice ~ I would like you to style work wear pants with a “blazer” type jacket ( so popular ) and the same blazer with a skirt… You will look wonderful in it!

    Thanks!

  13. Love this work ready look! Are you only wearing the cami underneath your top or are you also wearing a bra? I wish I could find more glamorized cami’ that provide support in lieu of the bra to go under many of my tops. Any ideas where I could find any? Thank you.

    1. Hi Cyndi,

I’m like Mom2Smith boys, where do you find a bra with thin enough straps to wear under the cami for your blouse? Are their camis that have built-in bras?

      1. I just wanted to add I wear a cami with a built in bra and they come in several colors. I purchased mine at Dillard’s and it’s their store brand. If you aren’t real busty they should work! I believe they are 28.00. 😊

  14. Hi Cyndi,
Love your bootie sandals but the heel is too high for me. Have you ever seen something similar with a shorter heel? Thanks!

  15. I just got these pants last week and wore then on the blog with the new elephant tee then just came out with. Love these and know they’ll be on constant rotation this spring!

  16. Dearest Cyndi, I was so grateful to read about Kelly yesterday, and pray that good news continues!! I do love the pants you have on today and feel they would be versatile! I have a question regarding outer wear for Easter. I found a cute sleeveless tangerine dress at Marshall’s. No doubt I will have to wear a sweater or a white or blue jean jacket. I have a cute scarf, so it would dress up the jean jacket. I should put pictures on FB so you can see what everything looks like. But, what do you think would look a little spiffier? THANKS, as always!

    1. What about a cute blazer?? That would dress it up a bit. Loft has a white one, I’m going to be styling the blue one maybe tomorrow.

  17. Hi Cyndi! I ordered the top from Gap, but did not order a size up, so I may have to exchange it. Oh well! Have a blessed day!

  18. What size pants and top are you wearing today? We are pretty much the same size….so this would be a big help for me. As always, you look darling.

  19. Hi Cyndi. I love all the outfits you are putting together for Spring. I noticed in the comments that Janet thought the red chino pants were too casual for a work setting. I wanted to share with you pants I found at Nygard Canada. They are stylish slim pants that have a stretch and are the pull on type. The fabric looks dressier than chino fabric and they hug and drape nicely. Check out the Nygard web page to order. I’m not sure if you have Nygard stores in the USA, but you can order them on line. . I just bought two pairs this weekend for $49.00 Canadian each, which would be approximately $30…something in USA funds. I purchased the slim ankle pants in navy and longer slim pants in white. The waist is so nice, muffin tops disappear. They are so comfy and perfect for any office wear. Thanks for sharing your site.

  20. LADIES: I just ordered the pink striped tee shirt from the Gap online, because it said this item wasn’t available in stores. Glad I did, they’re having an additional 40% off on online orders today. I only paid $8.99 and not $14.99!!

  21. Adorable! I usually don’t take the time to accessorize…but WHAT. A. DIFFERENCE. they make in all your outfits!
I’m taking cues, Mrs. Cyndi, and my fam has noticed. Thank you!!!

  22. I have read your post about nails but cannot find what brand and color polish you use. Could you share that? I love the color of your nails!

  23. Cyndi – I just subscribed to your daily e-mails. I am always on the hunt for attractive and modest outfits for work, (which can also work for casual events). This post is great! I am originally a reader of Shannon’s fashion blog, so I heard about you from her site. Thanks for co-posting with her! I agree – she is adorable.

PS: I also like the ‘Beauty for the Heart’ section of your website. : )

  24. Cindy, hanks for making the effort to find some work outfits! I only have to go into the office twice a week so I do need something appropriate other than what I wear at home. Those pants are just perfect! Not too tight or too baggy, i am heading over to The Loft to check them out. I usually find pants for the office at TJX or Marshall’s but they usually are black with minimal supply. I like my skinnies but way too tight for office or church even though both places are casual.

  25. I have 2 pairs of these chinos from Loft, although I purchased the pale mint (I think it was labeled seafoam) and the gray (weirdly named teal glow – definitely looks gray to me!). They are comfortable for work (I teach 4th grade), and appropriate for my setting. However, I had to order a size smaller than my usual to find the fit I liked. Overall an excellent purchase! Oh, and thank you for the tip about the Ahmazing Cami – just got mine today and it’s a keeper!

  26. Okay – just had to share 😉 I bought this mixed media top from LOFT online after seeing you model it. Upon arriving at the LOFT site, I saw their model and thought, YIKES – I would never have bought this….but you made it look great, so I bought it and it’s PEEERRRRRFFFFEEECCCTTTT!!! I love it (in case I did not make that clear, haha!). I’m 5’1″ and petite small, this top is very comfy and so versatile. I wore to work (office desk job) with black pinstriped pants and for the first time, I felt good about myself. So THANK YOU!!
