Animal Print Trend for Fall 2018

Well, ladies, I’m counting down the days until September 1st when my fall series begins! It starts this Saturday, and I’m ready. If you don’t want to miss a post, you can sign up for my daily newsletter HERE

September is a gorgeous month in Kentucky, and we usually start to feel some cooler temps, but warm or cool, I’ll be styling all things fall.

Today I have another fall trend, animal print, although I would say this is a classic trend, it’s one you need to add to your fall wardrobe. You can add it with a belt, a handbag, a coat, a dress, tops, sweaters, shoes, the list goes on.

I’m embarrassed to say I wear leopard almost every day! It’s a definite regular in my wardrobe. Here are some great options to add to your fall wardrobe.

  1. I don’t know what it is about animal prints that I’m always on the fence about. I love the accessories such as scarves, cute shoes. As far as tops, dresses I’m Just not comfortable 🤷🏼‍♀️
You had me laughing about changing in the car. When my husband and I were at the beach a couple of years ago, everybody had to leave the beach due to thunderstorms coming in. I had on a damp bathing suit and was hot and sweaty. The line for the changing rooms was crazy long. I decided to change in the car. First of all, trying to get a damp a bathing suit off in a cramped space and then trying to put dry clothes on a damp, sweaty body, LOL! My husband stood guard outside of the car! 🤣

  2. Ha… you had me laughing at your experience changing in the car… I wish I had a dollar for every time I had too and yeah putting on jeans the worse that’s when yoga comes in handy….. I said I was going to create a pop up changing room to put beside the car… what we won’t do.. I love leopard print and glad it’s still around. I plan on getting the scarf you’ve shown over the years from sole Society… and I’d like to replace my flats… can’t wait to see the fall series although it’s been extremely hot again… not much break this summer from the heat… was 94 at 9:30 this morning so I’m enjoy another pool day
    Blessings

  3. I love leopard print also! I rarely wear it in clothes but a scarf, booties, earrings or a purse makes an outfit!! 😍

  4. I bought the scarf from Nordstrom when they had their sale and can’t wait for cool weather to wear it. I do want to get a pair of leopard flats and heals, which I think would be so fun to style too.

  5. Love love love leapord print! Been looking for the right top to wear under my deep red winter wool coat. Thanks so much for posting this.

  6. Ha Ha! I first read you were finishing up your crazy “panty” which goes in line with Wayne going crazy, but wasn’t what you wrote!
    Made me smile!

  7. I am loving the animal print this year! I have bought a pair of booties and mules. Can’t wait to wear them! Gorgeous as usual Cyndi!

  8. I wear animal print in the form of a scarf or belt but haven’t got my courage up to wear it in a piece of clothing. I’m determined to find a pair of shoes in leopard that are comfy, either flats or booties.
Note: Your posts seem to be getting shorter plus no responses to comments. Is it because you are backing away from social media? Hard to do when you run a blog but I completely understand the need to unplug.

  9. Hi Cyndi,
Not sure if it’s one of your fall trends but can you tell me if Jean jackets will be a trend this fall? I LOVE them but I never know if I can wear it. Love your blog, thanks for all you do!

  10. The two outfits you have on the top of your blog with the leopard accessories are probably two of my favorite outfits. Very classy. Have a blessed day.

  11. Thank you Cindi. Love leopard prints. I have a few items shown
above. I will definitely start using them this Fall. God Bless.

  13. You should invest in one of the “changing tents” that people who do pop up boutiques. They look easy to set up and would definitely be more comfortable than changing in the car. 😀

  14. I love the leopard accessories especially!! I finally got that cute cute leopard clutch you all show a lot, and I got the leopard heels from Nordstrom during the #NSale!! Can’t wait to wear them!! 🙂

We are going on vacation for labor day… our anniversary is Sept 1 (28 years) and we typically try to plan our vacation at that time, since we don’t take kids anymore, it makes it easier to go after school has started!! 🙂 Y’all have fun at your holiday event!!

  15. Love connecting with you each day! Please post pictures of your pantry! And by the way, your grand loves are adorable!
    Hugs!

  16. I do not look good in leopard print traditional colour, it is too orange and washes me out. I was thinking how dare Cyndi tell me I have to have it in my fall wardrobe. Then I am looking at your pictures and had a bit of a moment, I own the gray scarf and a red and black version. I have a belt and shoes that are slightly grayed out. Thanks for including so many pictures so all the cool skin toned people can understand,
