Casual Dress-Vacation Style

When you’re on vacation and traveling, it’s nice to have clothes that are comfortable and this casual dress is perfect for the sunny weather in Santa Barbara.

The dress comes in several colors and is under $50. We walked around town with my camera so I decided to carry my Brighton Bag.

  1. Such a cute, cool and comfortable dress, perfect for the SC weather here, so humid! Love your tote, I just received mine, the blue and white with the pineapple design, I LOVE IT!! 😊

  2. I love Brighton – I think you should style more of their items. We have a store in Carrollton, GA called Sweet Peas. You would love it. The Brighton rep comes all the time and she looks so classy.

    Have fun and safe travels!

  3. Yes, a casual dress!!!. Absolutely love it:) the color and the way in which you have it styled. I don’t think there is anything any easier than slipping on a casual dress without worrying about matching a top and bottom and they are especially cool on those hot days. You can certainly dress this up or down and what a perfect choice for Santa Barbara. Nice choice.
    Have a great day,
I must look into those bags lol

        1. Cyndi, do you have a style number or something to help me locate those Tory Burch sunglasses? Really appreciate it.

  4. Love this outfit Cyndi. Ordered the dress and the necklace. Lucky Brand is having buy one get one half off right now so ordered two. Will be a gift for my Mom 😉

    1. So lucky has the same dress online? I would like to order but saw it was from Nordstrom and the blue Cyndi styling does’t pop up. Only the blush and black.

      1. The necklace was on Lucky Brand site. Buy one get second half off. The dress I ordered on Nordstrom in black.

  5. You look gorgeous as usual! If you have a destination, I would guess Stitch Fix in San Francisco. So glad that you are experiencing a wonderful tour of our country. Soak it all in!!

  6. Such a cute dress and beautiful color on you! Wish you’d give us a back view to see what the cut out looks like. You’re in my part of the country; I’m glad you’re enjoying it and steering clear of the hottest parts. ❤️

  7. You look great, and I hope you are having a great trip.
Question. I love dresses and especially sundresses, but I don’t really have the figure to pull it off. I have very broad shoulders for a woman, and I’m not very “hippy”. I’ve been told I have a “manly” body, although I do have a large bust. I guess it’s because I’m very tall (5’9″) and there’s the too broad shoulders and no hips thing. My body would be described more as athletic than cute and curvy. So I am incredibly self concious about wearing pretty dresses.
My husband says I look nice and should just wear the dresses. But I fret.
Do you have any suggestions for what would look better on my unusual body type?
Or do I just wear the dress and ignore the comments?

    1. God created you, and you are beautiful. Embrace what your husband says to you, and wear the dresses. 👍😊💕

    2. Wear what you like and be okay with who you are. 🙂 God made you the way you are and that is what HE wanted. 🙂

      1. Ordered both XS and S. Small just came. I think I need the XS like you. Love the dress and color but need to buy racerback bra now. 🙂 Thanks for great dress idea.

  8. Cyndi, you look like a native Californian. Hope you enjoy Yosemite. It gets really busy crowded in the summer. Your dress was perfect for Santa B. We really do have a beautiful State. Have a blessed day. Kathryn

  9. Don’t forget to come through Rocky Mountain National Park in Estes Park, Colorado ( where I’m from) on your way home!😊

  10. Cyndi, I love the Barrington bag. I was looking on their site and realized how pricey they are, but SO cute. I’m wondering if you feel the bag is worth the price and if you know if they run sales or have any discount codes? Thanks and many blessings!

  11. Love your clothes ideas. On which social site do you blog your itinerary for your vacation? I ask because in 2018 my husband and I plan to visit Mt Rushmore and Yellowstone. Your blog might give us some insite.

  12. Hi Cindy – I just love your style and how effortlessly you put things together! One big question though – can you start adding in some pieces you could find more inexpensively, say from TJ Maxx? Nordstrom is an awesome store, but a bit pricey for every day staples for a lot of us. Think it would be a huge blog booster!

  13. This dress looks SO good on you! Love the necklace, too! You look so good to be traveling so much! When I am on vacation, I usually look rumpled and tired! Lol!
